htc imo is the best cell phone maker. once you use it you will never go back to anything else, hd2 and desire are at the top right now

> In reply to Janto Huang @ 2010-03-10 06:19 from wrXd - click to readThe differences are numerous and you cannot expect someone to write them all down for you with full specification of both phones just around the corner. The main thing is that Desire is superior in hardware segment to an Iphone which means significantly faster processor, more ram-s and therefor better performance overall. As for the software, Desire is running Android, which is Google operating system and fully customizable, unlike Iphone. Which better suits you, thats what you gotta find by yourself and thats not particularly hard with all that reviews around and videos on youtube.

"According to MobileTechWorld, who talked to HTC, the Android HTC Desire will be getting a software package that will enable DivX playback. Although not written in technical specifications, Desire will play and record video in DivX HD 720P. These two features are not available immediately, however. After the release, scheduled for April, an update that will incorporate the DivX codec and the ability to shoot video at a resolution of 720p."

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-03-09 23:14 from ptD6 - click to readNot sure if im allowed to post where but i'll try. I ordered it here:

http://www.devicewire.co.uk/htc-desire

It was the best price I could find. Previously I saw it up for £373 at another site but that how now been raised to £440. I ordered it now from here because I thought the same thing might happen again if I didnt order it.
