i like the phone a lot. design and ui look great. a bit bigger than what i wanted, but i think i can get used to it. however, i would not buy it until HTC decide to make it a true world phone with gsm quad band and all bands (3g) in the phone, then i would buy another one from them. i bought one from them in the past and i could not use the 3g on another carrier. what's the point of spending so much money into a phone and yet you cannot use it to it full capacity when you switching carrier.

> In reply to Roland @ 2010-03-05 20:00 from mGIc - click to readAnd you are saying this doest have good design and nice users interface?

will for me, this has better design and UI than X10..

And one more thing. majority are not looking only for design and UI (which desire's already qualified)

Also the screen quality and hardware... (16 m colors Amoled, 1ghz processor And 572mb ram)

300+ ram is not enough for me...

Are you serious?
One guy says 3210 is best as a joke an then two followers come and praise ancient 3210 where comments should be about 2010th smartphone. Common!

I dropped it many times and use as a hammer and still works. You can chose any language as well. Now, all mobile phones in the market, you can chose only english and chinese language.

Come on, the majority will look for a good design and the majority will look for a nice user experience. There are only early adaptors that will be interested with the full spec.list and so one

Specs and android 2.1 won't make that of a difference when you combine it with the bigger part of the population on this earth.

But I think it will be a shame. Full specs compared to a X10 that only looks sleek with a sleek UI

Quite a few web news sites are announcing today that the phone will shoot 720p video. Has anyone seen any official comments on that?

> In reply to mm12 @ 2010-03-05 15:56 from PZsD - click to readIs this really a question?
Desire is superior in every aspect and therefore, understandably, pricier.
And looks are matter of taste. I, for example, don't find Legend better looking than Desire, probably also because its significantly bigger screen.

which one is better...legend or desire?
since legend is for style and desire is for performance...
wish they both are in one phone hahaha

actually in my opinion people prefer iphone because
in most part of the world...US, oz, anywhere...
basically they can get iphone with low price when they are in a contract with a networkd provider...
where they need to pay more money to get HTC =P

to be very honest i dnt agree with you about the iphone being all that great. yes obviously i agree about the apps. but in terms of every thing else including the amazing interface of the htc sense, htc is way ahead.. one of the main reasons that ppl still prefer the iphone is cause halpf the ppl dnt believe that htc can have a phone greater than the IPHONE... infact everyone thinks that iphone is THE best without completely understanding the phones complete all round performance!!
i know ppl hu hav had iphones and have had the 3gs for a week to review but didnt find it close to htc! (that is comparing it to the hero!!!)

> In reply to hamid @ 2010-03-04 10:05 from prmh - click to readGo Read the Spec and tell me why X10 is better. The HTC Desire by far better than Xperia X10 starting with OS Android 2.1 Vs. X10 of Android 1.6 and so on.
