amoled or slcd. difficult to order because you might end up getting the wrong screen. htc should've given each a different model number.

For HTC desire owners i recommend that you install an alternative ROM like insertcoin from xda site. You will het more space for installing apps and sence 3 gingerbread 2.3

Don't buy the wave as its OS bada has very limited apps and almost no support on the web,you should buy an android mobile with a powerful processor inside.
My desire is slow gets hot and signal strength jumps up and down constantly. Cell provider has checked local towers but I still get poor performance.can't stream video at all.
a. kurnia, 28 Jul 2011I dont think its battery problem. Ive been searching about it. What I get is, it is motherboar... moreOMG! Im experiencing this heating problem at the bottom part of the back of the unit.. as of now,i stil dont have any unusual abnormalitys from its functions.. iv had this phone for 5 months and still works great (aside from seldom unresponsiveness of touch screen). The only thing i am worried right now is this heating problem i sometimes xperience.it will start from automatic closing of an app..then the heat will start right away on that specific part. Iv heard from blogs that motherboard prob is one of the unlucky fates that old desire users face..
If i may ask...
1.what are the first symptoms of your desire before he behaved like that..?
2.And have u mishandled it or abused it in anyway that could've caused it to be as he is now?
3.How is your desire right now?
Cheers mah friend.. thanks...
