day three w/ my desire: sofar so good, battery is 12-15hrs of use, i'm not gonna complain because i'm a heavy user.. downloaded apps from the android marketplace, transferred some to the sd card so no issues with storage.. earphones kinda weak but after some tweaking with the mixzing app i'm not gonna need any pricey earplugs, but for the heck of it i'll still buy one hehe, a top of the line phone needs to be paired with a sennheiser in-ear plugs.. keep you guys posted from time to time
I've had HTC Desire for about 2 weeks now. It is superb!! I can't stop playing about with it. If anybody is thinking about buying one, don't hesitate. Just go for it!
I am planning to buy a smart phone and not able to decide between HTC Deisre and Motorola DEFY Pls help.
Bought the HTC Desire today and was assured it was one of the top models. We were assured it had everything and yes all languages. It was all set up all we had to do was change language to our desired option only to find there is no option to change it to Turkish which rendered this mobile useless as my Turkish husband could not communicate with his family and friends.Very disappointing.VE

So am I correct in thinking that after the 2.3 Gingerbread update the Desire will be eligable for the Playstation Suite ?

I am unable to choose between Desire and Nokia C7. I heard innumerable complaints that Desire has problem with its call quality on speaker and also sometimes internal speaker with breaking sound and distortion. If so, I don't want to shell 22k on a phone which doesn't even do its primary duty of phone calls.
Please give honest suggestion. I am planning to buy any one tomorrow. Which is better?
after many months of research i finally have my very fisrt smartphone! of course its the desire, prices have gone down (not that much though) and it's froyo and 720p video recording ready.. i bought this last night, got it charged while checking stuff, android is addictive! my first time! first impressions? screen is good, i prefer super lcd over amoled, browsing is faster than my desktop!, interface is easy to use, audio is nice but i had to download mixzing at the android market so i have an equalizer now.. well still checking the battery performance.. i'll keep you all posted, see yah!
