Lord Greystoke, 16 Dec 2010I have the HTC Desire HD & the Samsung Galaxy S.Both excellent phones & super amoled s... moreTotally agree with you. Same experience, same feeling.
If I had to chose again, desire would be first option, then galaxy s, very close.
One additional comment: if you use the phone to listen music, desire is again better than galaxy, batery drains slower.
On heavy use, both phones can hardly made it through the day, with a small plus on htc (about one hour more) - this might not be the case with galaxy running 2.2. I've lost mine when still on 2.1
i have this phone.i find it the best phone i have evr had.its make the iphone 4 look like a kids toy.the screen is great and the camera is 8mp which to me is high enough.it has never crashed on me and the android market is great.(angry birds is free). The only downfall is that i like having live wallpaper and it drains the battery.but apart from that the best phone out by far.HTC are getting it right this time
Having difficulty syncing htc to pc, havre tried all options available including disabling computer security system, debugging options and transferring apk files directly. Help
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2010Hi I just want to know is htc desire HD is launch at Singapore?its already in Singapore.. I'm using it right now.

kingloo, 15 Dec 2010Hi
I would like to know which one is better
samsung galaxy s or htc desire HD. pls i do no... moreI have the HTC Desire HD & the Samsung Galaxy S.Both excellent phones & super amoled screen crisper on the Galaxy S, but overall the HTC Desire HD is a better & critically, faster, lag free experience in my humble opinion. The aluminium unibody is a delight to hold.Size is subjective.I have big hands & compared to the Galaxy S not noticeabe difference in size although Desire HD obviously much heavier which for me gives it a more solid feel in the hand. Also HTC sync works perfectly with my laptop running Windows 7 64 bit.Never managed to get Samsung Kies to work on my laptop in the 5 months I've had the Galaxy S so could only drag & drop files. Not good enough for such a high end phone!
I am a proud owner of the HTC Desire HD.
I have used the Samsung Wave as well as the Samsung I9000 or Galaxy S, and I can affirm that the DHD's screen is GREAT. It may be LCD but the colors, sunlight legibility and the viewing angles are definitely an improvement over HTC's previous 4.3" screens.
Not to mention, it's a real pleasure to watch movies on this piece of technological innovation.
SuperAMOLED is the supreme screen these days and I know this will go on for a while, unless someone comes with a better one.
Overall, very powerful and efficient phone, worth every penny of yours.
I would like to know which one is better
samsung galaxy s or htc desire HD. pls i do not want comments from those who have seen or used just 1 handset, need opinions from those who had the opportunity to check out both the phones thoroughly.

indian boy, 15 Dec 2010hi brother in gry markt they will give warranty or bill?
How was the mobile for usage? scree... moreBrother no bill/warranty in grey market. Actually I have very old relations with the fellow from whom i had bought d cell
The cell is AWESOME n is totally worth d price tag. U won't feel like keeping the cell away from ur hand.
Screen is massive, it took me around 2 days to get used to with d screen ( talking abt messaging n typing)
Music (volume & quality) in headphones is totally rocking!!! But in loud speaker d volume is just ok ok
Awesome gaming experience :-)
Speed... let u ur self decide abt d performance ;-) my benchmark result was 2028 ( stock, i.e. without any Rooting)
P.S. if u r sure that it'll b officially launched by 20 then I think u should wait
Hi all! If i download apps from android market where does the phone save it? And can i set it to save the apps to the sd card? Thanks in advance!!!
