Hey guys, for everyone wondering if the phone GSM network works outside the US the answer is YES, it does work you just have to change the mobile network to GSM on the configuration of the phone (usually it does it automatically) you only have to be outside the US. I Tried it on Colombia and it works flawlessly.

Is ICS update available on this phone ??
after update does it restart the phone ??
or gives any other problem ??
I am searching for a phone with atleast 1ghz processor and GPU around 220 or mali 400.

Hey i have bought this in US a Boost Mobile Version.
and when i m going to start this phone it ask for a activation code for boost mobile service.
and i want to use this phone in India so please guys help if you have any solution regarding this.

Initially it came with Android Gingerbread. And I used it without any issues till ICS came as upgrade. No restarts or freezing.

Its been 2 months or so on ICS, same result. Working perfectly fine.

I recommend this phone.

Pls tel me is it a gud buy..worth it cz em buyin tis phn as em a die--hard fan f htc...plz any1 tel me abt tis prob..

Just bought the phone yesterday. I've owned many smartpphones. Mainly iPhones up to the iPhone 4s. Needed prepaid now. This phone isn't top of the line but then again your not paying 800_1000 for it without a contract either. IPhone3gs is still 400.. it works without a sim card and has a slot for one to use if you'd like. Isn't blazing fast but is smooth. It has everything the best phones have just not at the top line quality anymore considering this is a year old phone its still great. 4.0 ics slows some but is smoother easier and more convienet. Clean up factory apps get 16gb sd card. No issues with ics but it came preloaded on my phone from walmart. Was 280 at Wal-Mart for boos with shrink payments. $55 a month and lower $5 every 6 month's down to 35. Call quality is fine. Data is fine. 4g hit and miss but is still good spped. Battery life is ok. Apps drain fast but that's norm with smart phones. Screen quality is good. Video playing is ok sometimes choppy on stream recording is good still shots are good. Don't expect to take lots of high quality pics fast withthis phone. Nice slow pics are good. Get app for hi quality res pics. Facebook pics are good on this phone tho. It's ok to good at everything. Not great or best of anything compaired to newest phones but good android softwere with ok hardwere. Know what your doing and optimise speed battery life and apps and it still pulls its weight but it is single core and no gallexy or iPhone4... Solid compleate smartphone in. Budgett prepaid range...

Within 3 hours of having successfully completed the steps, the phone shutdown.

No reason at all. No activity on the phone, it was just kept on the desk.

I am now starting to pull my hair out.

Does keeping this phone in a cover (jacket) cause it to shutdown. I know I sound dumb, but I am so paranoid that I am suspecting the most foolish of all reasons to be the cause.

Absolutely any help is appreciated.
