Hey all, i'm about to face one of the biggest decisions :D
Picking a phone - woohoo - but to be honest, im not sure which one to pick...
Samsung Omnia II or HTC Google Nexus One
They're both amazingly great phones, i know that
i also know which ever ill get, ill be happy with...
but which one should i actually buy
this phone is rubbish and google are probably recording everyones calls messages and sms, mms's.
Few things i dislike about the one-
1. Why do i always have to press the button on the top to get the screen visible? Why can't the screen respond on a touch or some predefined gesture?
2. Sunlight visibility very poor
3. The buttons on the bottom do not respond as expected at times.
4. Typing on the nexus one is a pain. Wonder why they did not provide the 12 button touch keypad.
5. Battery very very poor - needs a recharge everyday.
6. Android apps are not so exciting.
7. Camera and gallery not up to the mark, have fewer options to customize.
does google nexus one have signal indicator light like blackberry storm and bold. can anyone help me this one pls.
this is the device that took me RIPPED me away from my nokia n900 n n97. no windows is a plus... so ez to use and build on, and great package. needs a harder shell though cuz its ez to dent. camera just as hd2 needs to get refresh and to stay on top of the game must provide integrated zoom and a few more options. i dont need an 8mp but a 5 with correctional zoom would be my final touch on this device. happy to use and play with plus it can be an iphone killer... if u try it! needs a higher grade speaker as well this is not a boost fone mr. HTC!!

They really need to focus on that because a rooted my touch with 3.5 jack will work very well and last alot longer

its amazing fone but lack of high resolution apps in andriod market.plz focus on apps.i wz using iphone 3Gs,switched to nexus one but no regrets except 3rd party apps.
asim, 11 Apr 2010I got Google Nexus one a couple of weeks ago and I noticed a drop in incoming calls right away... moreNot Responding for incoming calls while Downloading is not a phone Dependant issue. It is operator Dependant and an optional feature of GSM infrastructure. You should push Operator to provide that feature. I believe Google phone uses Internet/GPRS more frequently and thats why you have started noticing this problem.
Virgin Mobile, 13 Apr 2010Hi would like good or bad feedback on this phone.the good about this phone is superfast in the multitasking is very good, the cam is good, the bad is battery life is short, the apps is limited to 190+ mb only. but if you want to install apps in memory card you need to be rooted your phone!
Battery is bad, it takes 45 min talk time ti drain 20% battery with no 3rd party software. The N1 has the advantage of only live wallpapers as compared to hero otherwise hero is better. The phone has poor sunlight adaptability. The signal reception is also not good as compared to Hero. The N1 Often heats up when charging and talking at the sametime. Resetting to Factory setting does not solve the problem. I used N1 for a week and then returned it. Battery needs a recharge after every 8-10 hours if you talk for an hour listen music for one hours use GPRS/EDGE for about 30 minutes. iPhone and HTC Hero/HD2 are much much better. Please Don't get caught up with the live wallpaper, PHONE SUCKS.
pasmeacorona, 10 Apr 2010hey there can any one help me on figuring out how ot play videos on line besides from youtube?you cant yet, flash support in the works to come soon.
I find their email editor really a problem. I use Exchange sync which is fine to receive but if I want to forward en email to another party. I cannot edit original message like you could do in a Blackberry or iphone. This is big headache because I am on the road a lot and need to forward incoming emails to other clients changing just few words from original received email.
