Rouge, 31 Jan 2010Hi,
Can you tell me how's the music playback in the Google Nexus One as compared to iPhone ... moreIn response to one of your questions: This phone is an Android phone, so therefore, Microsoft Office is not included in the retail package. So far, the only third-party company that provides an office suite for Android phones is Dataviz and you can get the full office suite for $30.00USD. Check this out: http://www.dataviz.com/product...ogo/android/
5YCH081, 27 Jan 2010This phone is definitely the best phone I have ever used. My wife and I have AT&T; she has... moreHi,
Can you tell me how's the music playback in the Google Nexus One as compared to iPhone 3Gs? iPhone 3Gs is obviously top-notch but does Nexus One match up?
Secondly, the Office applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint are built in with the phone or you have to download them separately?
How is the Camera and Video Quality? I have read that the video playback is kind of choppy.
Going by your experience, which would you recommend buying, Nexus One or iPhone 3Gs?
does this phone have single or dual speakers? how's the sound quality (high, lows, clarity, ect) comparing to nokia n95 and samsung OmniaHD? N95 and omniaHD has the loudest and clearest speakers!!!

gubail, 30 Jan 2010i don't think GSMArena i will make the review till Google fix the 3G and screen problem :)You do realize that Google's 3G works fine on the device. What do you mean by "fix the 3G"?
anyone find it annoying that the homescreen is not being used to it full capacity? they make the big appl sym at the center bottom of the screen and left it blank on both sides. they already have the 4 soft touch key with the home/menu keys why not make one of them to pull up the appl page once it it the homescreen mode? same thing happen once the appl screen load up, you have the big home icon appear at the same location, why make the soft touch home key if that the case? it takes up space and look ugly for those screen. if that's the case for the homescreen, why not make it like the moto so that you have dial/phone key on the left side and contact to the right so that you can always access to it on any screen because no hard send key like mytouch 3g that you can always pull up the dial pad. or why not make it customizable so that you can put anything down there like the iphone? it's just those two screens that get on my nerve...other than that, everything seems to be okay, not the best.
The google nexus one is a great phone it's camra is 5mp with 480x870 resulution it looks fantastic!the google nexus one for me is a iphone killer since it is custom to my taste. It also makes great phone calls I think it has somthing to do with the noise canceling speaker. the live wallpaper I thought it would drain battery life like crazy! But it doesent I love the oled screen it makes the all the colors pop. t-mobile is good it is a phone for all ages if it's your first smart phone you will love it or if your coming from the iPhone you feel so FREE even if your older it is easy to figure out you will love it.it Is so fun yet you can use it for your work life as well.it is so cool!!!
Ammar, 29 Jan 2010Why there is no review for this lovely phone on gsmarena.com ? I've seen so many reviews on ot... morei don't think GSMArena i will make the review till Google fix the 3G and screen problem :)
It's coming to AT&T and Rogers in NA Market:
Fastest web browsing and instant responses. Nexus one is nice slim and feels solid. Well made device. Talk quality is good but not excellent. One of the best Android phone so far.
Anyone have Battery Problem this phone. We have two in family and both have battery life problem.
I have nothing running in background to drain the Battery.
I had the phone loved it! The touch screen took a little bit to get use too. Sometimes way too sensitive and other times requiring multiple hits... It might have been my big thumbs. only other issue I had was wireless bluetooth... listening to music or books.. the putting the unit in the pouch then in a pocket.. it would cut out.. and in and out as you move and walk.. might have a weakened Bluetooth signal... But I loved the phone!!! But hate the Google sales model!!! I was under the impression I could get the unit and make it part of my current account. According to t-mobile I qualify for an upgrade... been out of contract for a couple of years... paid my $180 had to get it in my wife's info.. called t-moble the said I had to contact Google its their baby... and u can't get a hold of them 0 sales support! You can send them an email, they will reply 24-48 hours later... they just quoted me policy and gave me an RMA to return it with-in the 14 days... other companies you can call voice your concerns and they will usually give you a workable solution to your problem... I was willing to pay $100 more... but because I had a family plan they wouldn't give me an option... and if I wanted to transfer my old cell T-mobile cell number it would violate the contract hitting me with $350 from Google and $200 from t-mobile... The only way to get the phone on a family plan is pay full $530!! love the phone but not enough to spend $530!!! So I returned it and will wait for T-mobile to release the HD2 in March.
