> In reply to Syrus @ 2009-11-21 09:52 from Iyfd The only thinks I really don’t like about the HD2 right not because it can’t do it or I can’t find it is.
1. There are no cook roms for it as yet with built in call recorder and auto cab install like i had on the HD.
2. As soon as the screen power off... when I turn it back on I have to put in my password. The time delay setting for password to be required is not working.
3. Sorting icons in the start menu, the only option you have is “move to top” you can’t drag and drop anywhere, like in the HD cooked leo roms.
4. I can’t find anywhere to activate notes on the lock screen like I could on the HD.
5. And I wish the 5 keys at the bottom could have been like how it was on the HD.
6. There is no quick way to get to the “task manager” like on the HD (and that is the only true way to close a program and free up program memory) now I have to go to the setting tab, tap on other, and then tap on task manager.
7. And just like the leo roms for the HD I can’t change the default snooze time. That one sucks big time.
Apart from that everything is batter. I even like the bigger size more.
Even the things that are the same to what I had with the use of the “leo rom” on the HD is better on the HD2 because it is moving faster.
And surprisingly the battery last just as long as the one in the HD on my very first charge. So it should get even better after it is conditioned. So the battery is good but I still think they could have made it better.

> In reply to KA @ 2009-11-19 20:30 from pJhdTry calibrating your screen if you are having problems with the onscreen keyboard.
1. Got to the settings tab
2. Tap menu
3. Tap all settings
4. Tap system
5. Find the “screen” icon and tap it
6. Tap align screen
7. Follow the instructions

For the people that have this phone...
If you where getting an error in some of the 3rd party software you installed saying “your .net frame work is not up-to-date” more or less.
I have found it.
It’s not the same “.net frame work you may already be running on your pc.
The one you need for this phone is called
“.NET Compact Framework 3.5 Redistributable”
It’s a .msi file, not .exe like what I was trying and was not working before :)
1.Download it to your PC.
2.Hook your phone to the PC in sync mode. (not Dick Drive mode)
3.Run the file on your pc and it will be sync to the phone when it is done.
4.Follow onscreen phone instructions
5.When it is finish installing on the phone, restart your phone. You will stop getting the error and the program will work.

> In reply to Syrus @ 2009-11-21 08:23 from IyfdCompared to the 1st HD yes it is loud I don’t have to use audio boost in “HD tweak” on this phone like I had to on my old HD.

For the people that wanted the "HD tweak" to block the auto connecting of the 3g,edge,gprs here is the link
http://montecristoff.webs.com/hdtweak.htm
Once you install it you have to go to the Data(GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA) section of the program and disable the entries you want to block (leave mms on if you still want to get mms)
And remember it is “HD tweak” not “HD2 tweak” not every think in there was made for this phone.

You will have to use the IE browser on the phone
Or use the streaming media program that is on the phone under multimedia
Or use coreplayer to play your to play them

> In reply to ediwitch @ 2009-11-20 22:56 from 0nmgWrong.... I believe Samsung has already made a phone with a projector on it.

This is not future technology. It is NOW technology.

For every one who has this phone and want the voice dialling.. This is the link to the HD repository I was talking about before.
Just download it, unzip it and copy “Duttys Cyberon Voice Speed Dial.cab” to the phone and run it.
After that the voice dial interface will be the same as on older windows mobile phones.
“Xtrakt.CAB” is also a nice touch screen game that works, that is in the repository as well.
You don’t need everything that is in the repository so I didn’t try everything. So if you do try more let everyone know what works

> In reply to sandy @ 2009-11-20 15:00 from Tr0qthats like saying the pixels are smaller on a 20 inch 1080p tv than a 52 inch 1080p tv because the pixels are smaller. common sense. same amount of pixels of couse on the smaller screen it will be sharper.

Check out Samsung i7410, it has projector on it so the size of the phone doesn't matter and it costs about 800 which is oK.For a phone like HD2 it shouldn't be 800 if it doesn't have Projector, vedio call camera etc

No. But IE Mobile 6 that ships with WinMo 6.5 does have flash support. The default browser is opera.

CorePlayer comes for a fee, but there are ways to get it free (eg. torrents)

Are you kidding me??? A Projector??? I agree the size of this phone is unprecedented but that doesnt mean you start think it has future technologies.
