WAP, 26 Jul 2010From where I can download Android 2.2 froyo fr my HD2?xda-developers.com
when receiving a call, answer, reject and mute are options available on the screen....but if the phone is in your pocket, beware, it may mute the call you have been waiting for!! also, missed calls are easy to miss.
Obeche, 26 Jul 2010Guys,
See link for an Android loader app (run from WM HD2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/sh... moreStill on Android Desire v5 on HD2.....
Downloaded some media apps from Market and consequently played some MP4 video files. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give the output a 6.5 (video & sound). But then ofcourse I believe the class of the SD card "may play a part" here. So I plan to go for a class 4 or class 6 SD card and make comparison.
The greatest joy here is that "Deep Sleep" is extinct in this version. And there hasn't been much need for frequent soft reset.
Also 3G connection is working so well (though setup is manual).
Great work thus far and very promising .... Android on Hd2!!!
Loaded Android (Sense Desire) on my HD2. It looks nice. My phone not working, but most things are. The live wallpapers are nice. I like the fact that I can load from SD Card and not take up space on my phone... Cannot wait til it's 100% ready... Will post more later. Late. Going to bed.... Cannot wait to get fully working Android on HD2.............

Had 2 o... moreHi there, you sound dissapointed. The worst thing that you have two set of Htc Hd2? And both set you need to 'HARD-RESET' everytime theres a glitch. You need a special internal servicing.Dont blame the thing, blame the user.Make an effort to do some research and try & error for few times.I'm sure you will be able to find some solution which we can share.I,myself, face the same situation but I value my set as it takes me a long time to save $$$$ to purchase one. There are alot of sources available eg.http://forum.xda-developer.com...hd2forum.com etc. So,cheer up bro!.thats not the end...chhers! :D

Mark, 26 Jul 2010Hi, all - I've got a couple of questions, hope someone can help me answer them.

If you are on the internet tab and you hit the globe (not the search) you will get the desktop version of the internet.
2. The memory that is low on space is your ROM not the RAM. At least 10% of your ROM a.k.a. internal storage must be free. So the OS has space for swap files. The more free ROM you have the faster it works and the more stable it is. Stop installing program and saving files to the internal memory and use the SD card, that is what it is for.
Hi, all - I've got a couple of questions, hope someone can help me answer them.
1. Opera (both pre-installed and Mobile 10) think my handset is a HD Touch aka "Blackstone" when I go on Facebook, and it reverts to a basic, mobile version - how can I get around this?
2. Co0kies Home Tab & Editor - why are they downloaded as two separate programs, and why does my HD2 say my memory is critically low despite the fact that I have 150+ Mb free (according to my BsB RAM Sweeper) after I downloaded Cookie Home Tab - which I've uninstalled as I was fed up with constant low memory warnings... grrr!
Any advice will be greatefully received
I recently installed Android 2.2 froyo on my HD2 and let me tell u it worked out great!!! It's easier than u think!

When you are in that mode the phone does not see the card only the PC can see the card. You should read the user manual that is free on the HTC site.
If you hate doing a hard reset to your phone, dont buy this trash, you will regret it. Had 2 of them and had done a H/R about once every 2 weeks, as the phone was loosing the shortcuts to the programmes installed on the memory cards. What good is a phone with a memory card, if the cards can't be read by the phone, what a con.

Simple and works. Takes care of running CLRAD.EXE and HARET.EXE (as was previously the case). Read notes from the link and do the rest.
Meanwhile Desire v5 is still awesome and good on the HD2. Running my HD2 on it throughout today. The only issue I've noticed thus far is the battery charging (not yet working properly)
Hi ! I have a question:
Is it possible to put the Android OS on my HTC HD2, for example "Android OS v2.1 (Eclair)" ? plzz reply
Hi to all ! I have this phone for about 3 weeks now, and I want to say that I'm very very happy with it, it's a cool device, really must have one... the 4.3" is not so big after all, it's very good for browsing the internet, and for reading on it, and of course playing on it :)... 5MP Camera with nice quality, 1GHz CPU & 448 MB RAM for ultra fast & smooth usability... it's the best phone I ever had. I recommend it to all to buy this phone !! :)
