Lynn, 07 Feb 2011I appreciate Anthony but this software dosent work in this case the guy who snached my phone h... morehe has to turn it on at some time to use it. and it dose not matter if he change the sim. if you set it up correct it will send a sms to a second # you picked with the info of the new sim that is in the phone. the program is that good. any sim in your phone that was not registered will send out a notice by email or sms. and if you password protect it, it can't be uninstalled without the password. you can even cooke it into the ROM so not even a hardrest can get rid of it. i know i works because that's how i got back my HD That was stolen.
i know It's too late for you. but just take a look at the manual to see all it can do.
programs like this are available for other smart phones. you just have to know what you are looking for.

The mechanical screen starts giving trouble over time and the press click to enter text makes it very slow. The “Torch 9800” is WAY better in every way. But if you really want a “storm”, the “storm 2” has a better screen input design than the “storm”
As for a “Windows Mobile” phones. The HD2 is the best Windows Mobile phone there is and there will every be, because they have stopped making windows mobile phones. All support has gone on to “Windows Phone” Series. So buying an old “Windows Mobile” phone now, is like buying an old race horse (it’s as good as dead)

Wizard, 04 Feb 2011Hi guys. I have a HTC HD2 phone (Windows 6.5) and the battery life is terrible. It only lasts ... moreThe battery life of a HD2 is not that great. But 4-5 hours on standby only is definitely not normal
Have you ever conditioned your battery? If not you may have damaged it.
You should always run your phone tell the battery is dead and it powers it’s self of at least ones a month. This helps the cells in the battery to clear its memory “I think that’s what they call it” and allow them to keep a longer life span.
Charging your phone all the time and its no where close to dead actually damages the cells in the battery from over charging.
Other than that, things that help the battery last longer when you are on the go (that are practical) are….
1. Use a program called “XT Hack Beta2” to turn off the 3G and run only 2G only.
2. Use a program called “XT Hack Beta2” to turn on “Optimized battery life”
3. Turn off Wi-Fi and bluetooth when you are not using them.
4. Set short sleep times from your screen for battery mode.
5. update your ROM to version 3.14.xxx.x
6. Don’t leave google maps or any GPS program running in the background when you are not using them.
7. Always turn off “Latitude” in google maps before you close the program because that will leave your GPS running. (and that will kill any battery in the times you talking about.)
meer, 04 Feb 2011i just bought a T-Mobile HTC HD2 LEO which is a used one from USA.
i just wanted to know tha... moreThere is no ROM upgrade for the T-mobile HD2 on the HTC site. HTC only distributes ROMs for the T8585 which is the None US model. T-mobile HD2 get there ROMs from T-mobile.
So your only upgrade option is a cooked (ROMs) that is compatible with the 1GB ROM in that version of HD2.
i just bought a T-Mobile HTC HD2 LEO which is a used one from USA.
i just wanted to know that if i upgrade the current ROM with the new one from the HTC website, will it lock my phone asking for the country code or something or will it be ok to do so ??
Hi guys. I have a HTC HD2 phone (Windows 6.5) and the battery life is terrible. It only lasts about 4-5 hours and this is on standby! hen I use it, I have to charge it avery two hours. I have had the phone since september 2010 (it was a little better that time, but it has become worse). Is this normal? Do I have to just live with it or is ther a solution? Anyone else had the same experience?
