ru, 21 Feb 2010its an hd2 successor but the screen resolution is pretty low. have you noticed that? thats the... moreNo. There will be an HD3 this year (Sept or Nov).... I have the HD2 and waiting on spec's for the HD3 which will run WM7..................
i think the only downside about this phone is the resolution. other than that it is perfect phone to someone not into big phone like myself.
Android is the best, WindowsMobile sux (it should be only used for pocket pc, not for phone)... that's my opinion.
brn, 20 Feb 2010why windows mobile whyyyyy????why not Windows Phone (Windows Mobile)? is it make u disappointed with this OS)?
why is htc pulling away from android. now we all now microsoft is a giant but to cater mostly to them is a big let down. here in the U.S. we are waiting for smart phones with full internet experience, java script, flashplayer, etc. were hoping htc would deliver the next generation of android phones guess not. guess customers here are left waiting for a company to do just that and that company wil corner the U.S. market and end the iphone generation.
It'll be cool to run Windows Phone 7 OS on this one. But its said that Windows Phone 7 will support minimum resolution of WVGA.
Another interesting thing is the name. Isn't this another successor of diamond???
its an hd2 successor but the screen resolution is pretty low. have you noticed that? thats the only thing that discourages me from buying it
hey i noticed something...the screen resolution is pretty low isn t it?
i hope it can play 640x480 videos without problems.. may HTC HERO cant play 640x480 videos correctly.
brn, 20 Feb 2010why windows mobile whyyyyy????WM is the best, HD mini is exelent device
it is really mini for a phone with a 3.2 inch screen
well, the specs are spectacular.
a perfect mini successor for hd2
Just a thought, while im extremely excited by this phone, for its perfect balance of features, hardware, software, size and overall cheekyness (it knows just how perfect is is), i am a tad worried about one thing...if it does everything the HD2 does, but its CPU (600mhz) is just over half the HD2's snapdragon (1ghz), then are we going to feel it? Oh and who needs two cameras when the inside is yellow? I mean, seriously, ITS YELLOW! Genius.
I have Xperia X1 and need to change it as its lagging too much and the keyboard keys are getting stuck...was deciding between HD2 and HD mini, but cause of the massive size of the HD2 I think i wait a bit longer and get the HD Mini...it's perfect for a woman... :)
Disappointed, 16 Feb 2010Dear HTC, Why did you release this in 3.2 inch it is already a crowded market and a shame it i... moreI have to disagree. This phone will be perfecto. It has everything a user can possibly want, except for making sandwiches (although you can use the phone to order some).
I am really looking forward to smartphones with a smaller form factor. This phone is like a slice of cool from a cake of awesome.
superb phone for htc Hd lovers........front camera for video calls would definitely be an advantage.
Imfao this might be what HTC needed to compete with the likes of nokia, SE, Samsung, LG, etc, with their small 3.2 inch display. Some users don't wanna carry more than 120gr of gear or two apple like devices. Also, most HTC models have ubber displays so what they must be trying to do is to widen their market. Nice done HTC.
gosh its like a downgrade of HTC HD 2, having many of its specifications gone =(
