To interested buyers...you must be aware that the phone doesn't support Bluetooth File Transfer (as said it is not supported yet in Android but on road map for Eclair 2.0)...i overlooked it and now desperately finding something to share my files or receive files from others...rest..I LOVE THIS GADGET after a week use ;-)

Doh! I meant to say that the HD2 only has 180MB of built in memory to store (only part of, it seems) the CoPilot Live8 SatNav software.
I presume the Hero gives you the choice to save the same program, and any others you might download, to either the phone or a micro SD card...?

I've just posted a comment on the HTC HD2 review saying how great it looks, but maintaining that the WinMo O/S, it's lack of built in DivX support, and fact that the CoPilot Live8 SatNav software can only be saved to the HD2's built-in 1080MB of memory are all major concerns to me.
Other than the larger capacitive screen and a dual-LED flash, does the HD2 offer anything that the Hero doesn't already offer?
I'm still set on getting a Hero as it seems the apps available and flash-support in the web browser sets the Hero apart from it's new, headline-stealing big brother.

3.2 screen: too small
320x480: low resolution
14.4 mm: too thick
288 MB ram: very little
CPU 7200A 528mhz: Old generation and slow clock
miniUSB: old standard. Trent toward MicroUSB
No FM Radio
No Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
I think I will look somewhere else.
