The box on this phone clearly states UMTS/WCDMA on frequencies 900 / 2100. I'm in dominican Republic where Orande has the 900, but i've tried with a lot of sim cards and plans, AND i've never been able to detect 3G network with this phone. I even put it on WCDMA ONLY and didnt get a single bit of coverage, only an X.

They should be be clear on what 3G band it can work and DONT, HTC is not being honest, at least with this one.

can you get this phone in the uk? its pretty good size and spec for its price. not a fan of the new huge phones.

This is a Very very fast & very good phone coz ,Hero S has a QUADCORE MSM8655 Chipset.

Well a relativly small phone,just 115mm height with a 4 inch screen.Thats rare among todays huuuge phones.Usualy a 120mm + height phone has a 4inch screen.
