Have had this phone for nearly 2 years, I can't believe I lasted this long. When my contract is up I will never ever but an HTC product again. Good: camera takes nice shots, stock GPS navigation great when it fires up, phone plays angry birds well. Bad: where to start, crashing, freezing, stuck at 2.3.5 android, abandoned by both att and HTC support (hint), saggy crash happy POS, constant yet random surfing issues, fake 4G when on att networks, crap speeds, lag lag lag. Takes almost 3 min to reboot this stock nonrooted phone. Junk apps and bloatware cannot be deleted, ATT navigator app is invasive, phone magically forgets my preference not to use that app every three days, both carrier and maker seem to recommend that a new shiny piece of crap and several hundred bucks are somehow a working solution. wow.

Avoid HTC or suffer and like it, you've been warned.

Go to their website and activate once you receive the sim card and follow instructions. very easy. Mine works great.

guys!
regarding 3g problem ; it refers to frequency of 3g network of your operator..

the inspire operates 3g on: 850/1900 .. many operators around the world operates on: 2100 , so if your operator operates on 2100 you will unable to use 3g on inspire.
