This is a HERO with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen,,, HTC is making copies ,, The HTC desire is the same NEXUS ONE with Fm radio ,,, ridiculous, no ??

Yes!! a more pocketable phone with android and flash camera!

Thank god HTC! They realised how successful the hero was and decided to build upon it.

I was SO sick of these HUGE 3.7" phones.......

HTC you spoil us! Here I am fawning over the new Desire, then I see this one will also have fm radio, awesome! Next week I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy Spica coz they're on special, and if I can live with the 3,2 screen on that one, I will definitely move to this device as soon as it comes out. If not, I will have to fork out a bit extra for the Desire. And if I find that i don't like android, I will go for broke and get me a HD2. Either way, I think I may have a new favorite phone maker.

At least a Hero with a LED flash :)
It would have been perfect if HTC had used a 3.5'' instead of the tiny 3.2'' one.But it makes a compact phone pocket friendly

this has 384mb ram.

i think this is nice, looks good and has decent features, a 'wised up hero'

I was near to buy a Hero when I heard about the Legend. So today, with the Legend specs known, I will wait for it instead of buying the Hero.
Unless they really drop the Hero price, let's see what happen on the market... :-)

on androidcentral.com it said that this phone had wcdma stats>>> does this mean they will come out with a cdma one too???

yes its true and also i wonder how are we going to change the battery.it seems the whole uni body cover can be removable

HTC can give 3.7 inch screen for this phone.Bec its dimensions are 112 x 56.3 x 11.5 mm.
and the HTC desire's dimensions are 119 x 60 x 11.9 mm.

Otherwise they should made the phone smaller like HTC HD Mini.
its form factor is 103 x 57.7 x 11.7 mm and it also has 3.2 inch screen.

Making a phone in Uni body style is nice but they should consider these factors.

The only negative thing is that there's a lot of space around the screen especially at the bottom edge of the screen, just reduces the attractivenes..
