got this phone last week. was going to get an iphone 3gs but physically couldn't make myself join the cult of iphone, so grabbed the magic instead.

love it, brilliant phone. fun, pretty easy to use, even for a non-computer geek like myself. seems to run well, and i'm even getting used to using a touchscreen. lots of options. all in all, really happy with it. looking forward to the donut.

I just bought a Roger's Wireless HTC Magic off of ebay, and I expect it to be here within a few days. I can't wait! I'm in the US, and plan on using it on AT&T's network.

Anyone has any idea whether i set my favourite music for sms ringtone? If yes, how to configure?

Spoke to the htc hotline staffs who seems very new to the phone and quite rude as well..

Hi all

Not sure is I am asking this question in the correct forum..if not apologies. I am 1 question away from getting this phone..

When setting up a meeting in your calendar are you able to invite other people to the meeting or can you set meeting requests for yourself only.

What about if you receive a meeting request from your colleagues ? Are you able to foward that on to other people thereby also inviting them to the meeting ?

ok that was 2 questions but appreciate the response

> In reply to NESS @ 2009-07-22 16:33 from mc9L - click to readThe Major difference between your HTC touch phone and HTC magic : they are not running the same operating system, your touch phone runs Windows Mobile which is developed by Microsoft but the magic phone runs the Android OS which is developed by Google but basically it depends on your preferences .......
