Can someone help me, I need to know how I can set my notification alert. Like when someone sends me SMS, the phone just vibrates but does not gives a sound. Usually, when we receive SMS, our celfone will alert us with a sound, mine doesn't, or I just don't know how to set it. Will please someone help me....

Before reading the post rules I had a lot of swear words in mind so I will control myself. The HTC Magic has been very dissapointing. I have had it for over a year and it was replaced within the first week. Shocking battery life, hangs, does not respond well, forget it if you are looking for an office tool. This is a toy....really NOT a good phone. HTC you have lost a customer after being such a huge fan for years!

if u have 32a just flash official roger 1.5,next>update>yes....and you got a 2.1 via OTA....I do!!!

My Magic phone has gone into permanent mute mode and I have to use speakerphone to hear anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a cure or is it a fault?

I also hav htc magic and its the best pfhone i ever had. Bud battery sucks! I charge it every night without using my phone... maybe 10 msg, one call, and just checking wats the time, and bum, my battery is empty... crap.

I have flashed to Rogers 2.1, still a very slow boot and as the phone is under warranty and I have some international trips coming up, I am loathe to root my android at the present time.
To upgrade it's as easy as flashing the BIOS in your PC
