This is a great phone! I don't think I will need another for several years. I actually purchased the Cingular 3125 but I am not a flip phone kind of guy, so I gave it to my wife and picked up this MTeoR beauty. I was a little concerned about whether or not all the features would work on Cingular's USA network. After a little frustration speaking with reps from the Cingular store (which they had the wrong information), I searched the web and found that all the settings can be added to an unlocked MTeoR. It only took a little while to get it set up. I found information to help me on the following site: http://www.smartphonethoughts.....php?t=7092. So if you want a compact, PDA style phone, this HTC smartphone is the one for you. Plus, you can download some cool software for the phone on www.handango.com. Enjoy!!

Nice phone but the battery life is disgusting! It lasts for approximately 5 hours and that is on a Sunday when I made about 3 calls. During the week, it is worse. I am handing the phone back as it is useless for business ( I have to charge it every few hours during the day.) I had the TYTN before this one and also handed it back due to the poor battery life.

HTC MTeoR
Been using the phone here in new york, everywhere I go with it people are starring at it, the resolution on the phone is just incredible, and also the whole setup of the phone, great for a business man, the phone look is very elegance and unique because of the green background (that can be changed to red & alot more other colors)
the only issue that i had with the phone was the push-mail could not work in new york (they wont give me the right setup in cingular)
if anybody else knows how to do it this phone can be very nice.

Thanks for the info. Among the 3 identical phones; htc mteor, qtek 8600 and i-mate spjas, spjas is the only phone with secondary camera for video calling.

3G doesn't stand for video calling.... 3G is used for faster data transfer... video calling is only 1 aspect provided by faster data transfer offered by 3G...

very nice smartphone. yet, specs says this is a 3G phone. therefore, its capable of video call. But i dont see a secondary camera, normally located in front of the phone for video calling.

very nice phone. though, its similar to qtek 8600 and i-mate spjas. But just wondering why the weight of these 3 phones are different.

the looks are pretty good, but it dissapoints me to see how so many manufacturers do not give a secondary video call camera for 3g phones or place it near the screen. some ppl need to be educated that 3g experience can only be enhanced when both parties can see each other simultaneously.
