All of the One's photos had better color reproducion than Lumia 920 and it has enough detail even when zoomed. With the features of Zoe it makes One having the best all'round smartphone camera.
usmanmukhtar, 14 Mar 2013Processor is Good but 4 MP ??
What HTC is trying to do here ?

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2013ultrapixel is a term used by HTC to describe the pixel size - it has no relation to the resolu... morethats nosense...
the 808 has the same 1.4micron pixels like other smartphone cameras, but not at 8mp, but at 41mp!! So due to the oversampling technology ("PureView") the 808 combines the pixels if you're taking smaller images (5 or 8mp) into even much bigger ones - so you'll have huge pixels with lower resolution. Or you Chose the other way - huge resolution (but smaller pixels). Anyway - best camphone by FAR = 808 PureView.
Some reviewers don't know how to take photos, some do. End of story.
lucky31, 14 Mar 2013This phone has the best camera for indoors and talking closeups with friends and family.
Best... moreplease, stop trashing.
this phone does have good specs, but it's never, never the best cam-smartphone. Far away from that.
Here some pics if you're intrested in good pictures - taken with the 808 PureView:

Yes indeed specswise this ONE is a murderer. However i have a question for real users. How does the overly pixellated screen of the ONE look? I hav the feelin that thins will be extremely sharp when viewed thus obstructing the enjoyment.
Should've been 400 or 420ppi since de screen wont be expanded to 5" or over.
For u gongmouthed guys ranting over superiority,
what i saw here this morning might interest u. Just checked my feed this morn, Boy this "ONE" won the best smartphone in stuff gadget award thus Dethroning xperia z.
laughable, isn't it? make more noise abt the ultra p. Cam. The judge has spoken.
This phone has the best camera for indoors and talking closeups with friends and family.
Best for night photography and concerts.
I was little worried about the camera at first as it's hardware and design is top notch no doubt about that.
I'll be buying this phone for sure.
charlie1411, 14 Mar 2013d camera for this smart phone is 4 ultra pixel as mention, can I know 1 ultra pixel equals to ... moreultrapixel is a term used by HTC to describe the pixel size - it has no relation to the resolution which is 4MP
look at it something like the engine of a car...at same capacity let's say 2000cc you may have two types of engines(or more), one has 8(smaller) cylinders and one has 4(bigger). You still have the same overall capacity(just like the senzor size in HTC is the same with those you find in most flagships but they opted for the lower resolution 4MP and not 8 or 12 and bigger pixels). Now the first picture samples and reviews have appeared(soon GSMA will finish one:)) and the conclusion it's up to you if you like their direction and results.
"HTC has made a deliberate choice to focus on photo quality with bigger pixel size over just total pixel count. The 1/3’ sensor size on the HTC One is equivalent to the sensor size found on other 8MP or 13MP smartphone cameras.
However, UltraPixels are larger than ordinary pixels, and take up more space on the sensor. So there are less megapixels - the new HTC One takes photos at 4 megapixels resolution, but the quality of each pixel is substantially higher than the industry average."
