Anonymous, 25 Feb 2016I don't really recommend that phone. I was really excited to get it, since I loved the m8 that... morei have this phone and i see a huge different between the HTC and Samsung ... i have made a lot of picture and i touch the screen and make me a clear and nice picture and battery have more time then any of Samsung the and i work to fix phone tablet and pc but i never change from HTC to other mark sound with Dolby THX when i put some external speakers have a clear sound too depend of speakers you put some other to dont brake you must low volume :)
The most stylish phone out of the box Wish the screen size was larger
Gets the fastest OS updates Too much bloatware like all other makers
Don't mess with a good thing by making changes for the sake of putting out something new - the power button should have been left on the top not on the side almost where you can turn on/off the phone without intending to.
Its an excellent phone with a lot of features........... Its audio system is awesome-good quality speakers............... Camera is good(better in DAYLIGHT) and has awesome clarity.........Battery drains out a bit quick and the phone does heat up.........It takes quite a lot of time to charge completely........The display is so nice....!
Has a nice feel but the layout is poor. HTC decided to put the volume buttons and the power button right next to each other so when I go to adjust the volume while listening to music I end up turning the screen on and off. The aux output Jack is also very sensitive and hard to connect to devises. The HTC software can be annoying at times as well with frequently long updates the render your phone unless for hours at a time.
I don't really recommend that phone. I was really excited to get it, since I loved the m8 that much, but honestly huge disappointment. It seems there are many manufacturer default, example I have a lot of difficulties with my battery, even though I don't use it that much, three days ago I put my phone on charge all night long and woke up it was at 14 %, it happened to me a few times in the past. I also really hate the platform, I don't like the apps from HTC, not useful. Also the camera doesn't work that great, the light is always too bright and the photos are never really clear. I am also disappointed by the speaker, it sounds not clear at all, and when I want to put music on the speaker, it doesn't sound loud at all. I think I will even break my term with my cellphone company, I think I will get s6 ou s7. I made a huge mistake.
Fantastic phone. Great with games, video, everything. Updates have made the great battery life even better and made some of the more graphically intense games cooler.
I put mine...M9ine in a Spigen case - love it!
Suad-fayed, 18 Feb 2016Hi guys....I want to buy a smartphone that has pretty good looking, stylish design, has good fr... moreYou can go for a M9! I've been using the phone for almost 7-8 months. Despite the fact that it gets heated a little bit, one of the best phone I've used!
Any one here plays clash of clan ?? When i was in attack and a call comes it blocks the whole screen .. I think in lollipop that shouldn't happen .. And it didn't in my z2.. Is there any way to fix it how can i receive or decline calls from my notification bar. Guys i need your help asap
HTC One line has been very disappointing for me. Numerous software glitches, several replaced phones, lost data, and now, a second run of not taking a charge. So sick of this crap. Last time I called HTC to address the issues, tech hung up on me while I was asking a pointed question very politely. F this company. I KNEW I should have gotten the Galaxy instead. Whats worse, Verizon won't change me out of the brand. I am stuck unless I change carriers.
Stay away from HTC!
htc one m9 or xperia z3+?i heard htc m9's camera weak in low light and also without image & vedio stabilization .please help me to choose.
My very first smartphone ever was a HTC Touch Diamond and HTC M8 will be my last smartphone from HTC.
I have never bought another brand of smartphone other than HTC, because I was always an HTC Fan. But since couple of years HTC is starting to sink like the Titanic.
Reason is almost same specs three years in a row. I don't know if there are people or monkeys working there, but how hard is it to keep up with the competition in terms of making a better specs than your competitors.
Many other smartphones had better specs in the same year the HTC M8 was released. For crying out loud, the Oneplus One has similar specs as HTC M9 and Oneplus One came out in 2014. No wonder that HTC is sinking... What is HTC doing there?¿?
How hard is it to just upgrade the specs on a smartphone like other companies does?
Now they are launching the HTC M10 which compare to HTC M9 has 1GB more RAM, 8 MP less than HTC M9, same 32GB of Internal Memory as almost all their HTC smarphones and as usual Non-removable battery like always.
C'mon guys, who ever is in charge of HTC in creating the next HTC phone is doing a POOR JOB. I can do a better job then that.
HTC bringing the M10 this year out with the almost similar specs that Oneplus 2 brought last year. Yes the HTC M10's Chipset, CPU and GPU are better then Oneplus 2, but nobody is saying "WOW" because HTC did a poor job on the other specs.
And I'm just comparing HTC with OnePlus, because comparing HTC with LG or Samsung won't be a fair match.
Like many others, HTC has again 1 fan less and I'm considering to go for either LG G4 Pro or LG G5, because both have better specs in many other areas then the HTC M10.
Wish you all the best luck HTC.
Hi guys....I want to buy a smartphone that has pretty good looking, stylish design, has good front camera and it should run smoothly.UI also should be lagfree...battery life should be good enough... And gaming performance should be good.... So should I go for m9 ????
Don't worry it's a common issue with some type of devices. Just flash a older ROM manually! Same thing happened to me, got it fixed by flashing a older rom. You can get it from xda. It should start working again. Good Luck
Please, i need serious help with my HTC M9. Just upgraded the OS to the new Andriod 6.0 and my Selfie camera and video had stopped working since then....
Have try all i could to get it back to work but to no avail.
I need the expert to help me on this one.
Very smooth on marshmallow, however battery life is very poor. Standby is quite good, but cannot withstand medium use for full day. Quite dissapointed after the update
