i don't like it(step down of High Tech Computers) and i'm sorry
hey HTC, firstly, you must read, book of steve jobs "isteve" & i'm not kiddin' with you! don't make lot of smartphone in one year!
old stories. thinkin' about "htc hero" ha ha we'll can see how to fight your hero with apple's 6s/plus display quality, sound quality, sense(user interface), benchmarks, graphics, camera, battery endurance & build quality. it will like ipad air 2 vs nexus 9. wow
Anonymous, 06 Jun 2015HTC One M9 or Sameung S6...Which one should buy ????Neither. The former overheats, while the latter have the laggy TouchWiz UI. Wait for other flagships this year, such as the iPhone 6s and Moto X 3rd Gen.
Miss this phone, gorgeous, audio just super excellent ,pin sharp screen, skin in is quite good actually. Cannot understand why it's own music player kept sending off reports of crash every flipping song? Did not find it as fast as it should be. Maybe I had faulty unit?
I am sure HTC can do better with camera. I will buy it again just giving it a bit longer to see HTC ME review and failing that new HERO device. In fact HTC did do a HTC Hero I think.
I wanted to write this because it is a beautiful smartphone just a few niggles that sure HTC can sort they have been around for over a decade I know of.

i care about display. so HTC's hero or HTC One M10's display must be better than iphone 6s plus or at least iphone 6 plus "retina display"

Don't be worried about overheating. Mine has never gotten hot (warm maybe, but that's a part of having an aluminum case, it conducts the heat away from the phone's innards a lot faster). Even in reviews, they say that the phone hasn't overheated (or gotten too hot) when performing benchmark tests.
I love this phone! I just got it 2 months ago for my birthday and it's been absolutely perfect! I would definitely rate this phone 10/10. I used to have a 5S but I'm way happier with the M9.
The Sense 7 is amazing, great at adapting to my schedule when I'm at work or out running errands.
I like to travel so I take a ton of videos when I'm away and love the 1080p video recording - that combined with the BoomSound speakers placed in the front makes it SO much easier to share with family (I don't have to cup the phone anymore to amplify the sound)
One of my favourite features is the SD card slot, perfect for me because I take tons of photos/videos and I also store a lot of music on my phone so storage is never an issue anymore.
I've only had this phone for 2 months but I can't wait to play around with it more and get even better at using it! Highly recommend the M9, it's awesome!
if "HTC hero" can beat apple's iphone 6s/6s plus in main departments, (i mean display, benchmarks, sound quality, camera, battery life,"simple"(like iOS or more than) sense 7.0 or 8.0 and graphichs) i will stay with HTC forever. thank you High Tech Computer corparation
jpnad88 Thanks for your reply and I will go for it after thinking about the hot of the Snap dragon 810
I bought the M9. I love it. 9/10
People give it a lot of flak but its camera isnt bad AT ALL, and the battery isn't a big deal if it's run on power saver mode (and the new software update is boosting the battery time). It was a little strange at first coming from a S5 user but the phone just takes a little bit of time to get used to. Loads of features, the Sense app is pretty useful on the way to work.
Not a bad phone at all
SD Card slot
Battery could be more efficient
Updates could come a little faster
I'm wondering why HTC couldn't come up with a simple camera like iPhone 5S or iPhone 6. They're keeping doing this, doing that or adding new features while they couldn't even make a simple camera that works! HTC should learn to understand that ppl in this world nowadays are smart enough; they won't be fooled by cheap and low quality phones, so start to improve the camera first before you go deep down into designs...
