Ignore its good looks. This is one of the worst phones I have ever used. In four months since upgrading, it has crashed three times and been considered beyond repair by my network provider resulting in repeated replacements. Do not make the mistake and get this useless handset. If you require a reliable phone, run away from this now.

There was a time when I would fork out the extra, only to have a good phone or other device (preferably HTC), but I've now realized that there are so many other quasi-anonymous phones out there that may last way better than these flagships, while costing a fraction of their price.
My phone is such a device and I'm almost wishing it failed so that I would have a reason to buy a new phone, but it just wouldn't give up! :)
My advice is stay away from "flagships" in the future, they are selling their name, not quality anymore. Get a 150 phone and you may be surprised. Besides, we're all changing them in a couple of years, so why invest too much in something that will become obsolete soon or you will just get bored with?
Miaka, 21 Jun 2015U have the nfc but do the update first which update it is? where are your region? cause I don't have it yet

Oh well dissatisfied with M9 so have ordered this. Give it a try but had to buy brand new from main phone store so I have some decent back up if all goes wrong.
M9 was bit stuttery plus got hot just playing music which is not right,,ok get hot on 3g streaming or gaming I expect plus battery poor. I suppose battery just going in heat. Audio good but camera odd autofocus too slow and in low light video just not right.
It is if M9 needs a good software overhaul it is gorgeous phone it really is and hope it gets put right so I can buy it again further down the line.
