This problem isn't so disturbing anymore but is exist. This mean that when I have poor mobile internet signal (in belgium have poor and in Estonia have good) then sometime mobile open itself google now Window. I must shut down this window and thats it.

No problem after ICS upgrade, coming from Samsung Galaxy this is one sweet phone, great feel in the hand, excellent battery life, super camera, love the metal body. Nothing I don't like, great mid size handset, 9.5 out of 10 for me.

Some are saying that the home screen bug has been fixed(including the HTC customercare) while others are saying it aint fixed!!What's the truth? :O

htc phons r d best...so far..samsung is jux playing...ma internet is not workin..it only once in a blue moon n evn its very sloww....is it ma android softwre or wat cos I knw one s jux tooo great for dat...i cnt browse av done all d internt settings n wen I switcg d mobile network u see only 2g buh weneva I open a page it tells me web page unavailable buh ma credit bn deducted..am loosing hope...somebody plllz hlp...htc one s t mobile dnt lemme giv up cos av used as all htcs sensation series n dey were pretty fast wid browsing...HELP!

Ok I got this phone a couple days ago from WIND Mobile
i got a pretty good deal with it

Pros
The phone Battery can last for at least 60h

After upgrading my HTC One S ICS to JB i face some problems. Battery life reduced, music quality decreased, Photo quality decreased, phone heated, signal strength has become worst, phone hangs offently. What can i do? plz suggest me

Would be a nice phone if not plagued by a VERY SERIOUS BUG

Pros:

- Light, but strong
- Slick and elegant
- Battery ok (with some tweaking it lasts me a fair day with about 3-4 hours screen on time, with stock software it still does 15 hours runtime)
- Good Audio
- PERFECT CAM!!!
- Very good screen
- Fast!

Well, then there is this:

Nice device, but be aware that numerous users are experiencing a SERIOUS ISSUE whenever carrier signal is weak:

The phone will then switch homescreen/multiple screen view on its own in very quick succession, and disable all the capacitive buttons. It will keep doing this until you find a spot where the signal is better (if you're lucky). In the meantime, you will not be able to do anything at all: call, pick-up, use apps, whatever. Basically, you then completely loose control over your phone.

This issue has been reported to HTC by many users SINCE APRIL 2012, but no patch or update has been released yet as to (successfully) address the problem. So keep this in mind if you want to purchase this device... You have been warned.

I also highly doubt there will ever be a software-fix that will adress this adequately as there had already been three attempted fixes which failed to cure most if not all devices.

Various threads on XDA forum are currently discussing this issue, gathering testimonies from hundreds of users and organizing a communication campaign to inform the masses. Don't forget to check them out before you invest in this phone:

How is the battery? I've only had it for one day and can still change my mind about it if within a week from my purchase, please let me know. I find it is constantly warm and seems like the battery is drained fast.

After using most of recent high end smart phones, I think that one S is one of the best smart phones regarding its design, speed, performance and extra features. It is not far behind Iphone 5 in terms of reliability and speed.It is far better than Galaxy S3. Only drawback is its fixed 16 GB space availability, but I think this can be handled. Jelly bean has added more swiftness to this phone. I will recommend this phone for all.

Don't go for Xperia S or SL. They may be good on paper but not with actual usage.
720p screen- bad contrast and viewing angle
12 mp camera- error on focus with blurry images and color errors.
Battery- you will need to charge twice a day with average use
There are lots and lots and lots of errors.
