I have recently made an order for one v for my bro from rediff.com on cash on delivery.
Is there anything to worry about quality,bill,warranty of phone?
Or its ok

One of,my fb friend wants me to make her an art picture with my child.
She wants to pick my child in her lap.

I have purchased an HTC One V last day. Its really an excellent phone in all respects but unfortunately I am getting some problems in using it, kindly guide me in this regard in best possible way.
1- I am unable to login in my gmail account in all fields except mail. Thats why I am unable to access play store and many other applications wherever it prompts use your gmail account.
what it does in actual is that when i log in it says plz wait this will take a few minutes but I wait and wait for hours but it is still on the same point that it will take a few minutes. due to which I am unable to download any single application for my phone.
2- In Face Book when I log in it does not downloads the home page but indeed says " an error occurred please try again later" I do accordingly but all in vain. however in friends stream I get posts by my Face-book friends.
3- maps and navigation is not working , no map is downloaded I wait for minutes, it points my location with a blue dot but without a map its not possible for me to do any task.

please take this into consideration and sort this out in some way, i have been so much upset since last day and in a great panic.

good mobile..really gudd in looks..wrks awesome but a little slow..but its features covers that..

don't buy this mobile.,I am using it for 3 months.the only problem I find is very lagging.and very slow.app taking more time to load.multitasking is really pathetic.,

settings page take long time to load.games not smooth.my decision is wrong in buying it.one v is lagging a lot friends.very poor perfomance.I hate HTC .

HTC please don't cheat customers..,

5 months and it is running like a Swiss watch :)
I love One V, not a single problem, wifi is on almost all the day, Facebook and Whatsapp running most of the day, playing small games, heavy duty, but it is very good.
The phone is not very fast, but it is fast anough to make you do your work and play without feeling bored. Just use the task manager to free the ram after and before every bigg app, this is optional by the way :)
But really I love One V.

Hi guys can you plz tell me the internet speed on 2G and 3G network in One V, also is there any call droping and low network signal issue in this phone, how is the voice call clearity and loudness plz reply soon I am planning to buy this phone thanks

I've been using this phone for almost 2 months.
Most of the issues I've seen here in opinions section were not encountered in my case, however I got this issue with Phonebook / Dialer app. It takes a very long time to query, some times for up to 4-5 min and sometimes it times out with no results. I have about 1300 entry in my phonebook (most with multiple numbers) but I never had any issues with that in my Blackberry .. I was surprised with this kind of issues in my first Android experience -though not sure if this is a device issue or an Android issue.
I downloaded xDialer from Play store and it partially resolved the problem but it still uses the stock dialer in the background at some point and it ends up showing numbers with no names. I also sometimes get calls from a number and when I close the call it appears with a name in the call log!.. upgraded the firmware to latest update with no luck either.
... anyone encountered similar issues?

Best phone in this range. Bought two days ago and so far so good. Would prefer over iPhone 4.

> In reply to nayans @ 2012-09-17 15:45 from uvsB - click to readdesire x is better my friend. and who said the gpu is low.203gpu doesnt mean that its less. i guess its slightly better than 205gpu. reason being that desire is coming with an s4 chip which is the latest chip. whereas 1v has s2 chip. plus check out ram. desire x has more ram than one v. so if i had to choose between the two then i would gone for desire x
