RammyC, 22 Apr 2012Hello All, I have been using HTC One X for past few days. This is my first ever Android dev... moreIt's normal for it to heat up (especially since it's quad-core) and the battery takes long to charge to 100% because it's Li-Ion Polymer and not just an ordinairy Li-Ion ;) THIS PHONE IS AWESOME!!
jimmy, 21 Apr 2012if i'wll using it casualy like 3 hours text 1 hour music and 1 an half our browsing...so what'... moreInitially it will take most of your battery but after like 4-5 full charges it would take around 65-70% of your battery... believe me if battery life is stopping you from buying this phone AND you are not a "heavy" user of the phone then go for it 'coz ITS AMAZING!!!
I have been using HTC One X for past few days. This is my first ever Android device and here is what I think about this phone:
1. Can't take eyes off the screen, itís B E A U T I F U L!!!
2. It feels very comfortable in hand.
3. It's lightning Fast.
4. Camera is amazing. Photos are very sharp & clear even the shots taken out of the videos are crystal clear :o)
5. It has all the features that one needs but...
6. Battery is not up to the mark... for some reason it drains faster than it should... haven't last a day for me yet. People says it will get better as you use it... hoping for the best.
6. Something that makes me worry: Phone heats up a LOT if you use it continuously (an hour or 2) specially the area where the camera lens is positioned (don't know why).
7. Don't know how important is this for you but the phone takes a lot of time to get 100% battery charge.
Havenít had any other issues apart from life and overheating of the battery; hoping to get the update 1.28 fix these issues.
All in all itís a Great device!!!!!!!!
i think the htc one x is very outstanding and powerful without a doubt but i am so disappointed that is doesn't have a Card slot i think that htc really screwed the perfect smart phone with this
Catalyst, 22 Apr 2012To owners that may have problems with screen rotation: discharge the battery completly,then... moreor hold the power button for 10 seconds to reset it (it's like pulling the battery out)
I got this phone a few days ago from optus and i love it. the great camera and integrated beats audio are what sold me over iphone or galaxy s 2. if your unsure what phone to get id defiantly recommend this one.

Catalyst, 21 Apr 2012Severe issues with the screen. Screen orientation issues. Screen wont auto rotate.Just go to settings and display & gestures there in the bottom you will find a thing called g-sensor calibration go there and do a g-sensor calibration and i bet the auto rotation would work perfectly normal. And also while you are at it go to settings and accessibility and check if you have the auto rotate screen function ticked and enabled maybe it might be disabled. If all the above mentioned doesn't work then you my friend just got a faulty device that needs to be changed thats all.
very disappointed with this phone .....replaced twice in 12 days becoz of screen problems....apart 4m these dis phn is so gud dat i don't want to use any other phone..very confused wot to do nw...

MobileSec, 20 Apr 2012Why I have to wait. Iím 100% sure this is the final unit.
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_g... moreYou will see that those are not the final specs. By the way that is the Galaxy M as some people says it. The S3 could be waterproof, and could have an eye tracking system. The S3 will be the king. It also has a card slot.
Samsung is the king of Android, why don't you want to admit it? HTC is good, but Samsung is better. They toke the crown from Nokia. Now Samsung is the biggest mobile phone maker. Of course this is not everything, but I believe Samsung is going up, up. I also believe they will not copy Apple anymore.
PP1987, 18 Apr 2012Why only microsimcard slot as in INDIA we do not have such simcards??????????????just get a scissors and cut it to the shape of microsim. dont cut the metal part.
