Technically it is a duo processor, but still no where near the equivalent of a 400mhz samsung. Please do a little more research guys. Its still no where near as fast as say the tytn.
on a different note though I think the device will sell well if priced correctly or atleast near or less then the MDA.

It seems as if this gadget is limited to Asia only and yes it's also known as Dopod C800. The processor is not a let down - it's somewhat equivalent to 400Mhz. As for the lack of 3G - I'm glad - because my service providers (lousy service that they have) have not expanded their 3G networks into my area and I don't have to pay for a PDA phone that packs a bundle of things I don't need. It cuts cost. Think of it as another flavor to suit another's needs.
At 17mm, it's the slimmest PDA phone out there with a sexy dark grey (or is it black?) finish. I love it. Much more appealing than the dull executive grey.
There's a report of the launching party here:

I would definitely get this once I get my hands on it and try it out. I hope it passes my expectations and beyond - I'm very hard to please. :)
So far there are no reviews on it yet. Anybody seen any?

This model is the same as the new Dopod C800 manufacture by HTC. Dopod has 5 new exciting models in the pipeline. Has GSM Arena missed out the reporting, the up coming Dopod high tech PDA phones.

if you want Good looks and better performance,.. Get a Tytn... features makes it worthy for it's price
if you want simpler PDA phone with all features bundled and an amazing camera: get P990, price is lower than this for sure...
If you want the best performance, Amazing camera and audio, very good media player and near-perfection features like P990,.. better get an ASUS P525/P535,.. it's worth all the money you will pay...

looks like there is an obsession with the OMAP processor. Looks and sleekness arent the only thing users look forward to in PDA phones. We need a good processor to power it. maybe 3G isnt for everybody but we look for processor upgraded products. hopefully they can learn from Eten. For users who dont want 3G, u shud definitely take a look at the Glofish.

Dear HTC:
You need to add 3G/UMTS and a scroll wheel to this device. Then all else will fall into place. Chop chop!
