Can someone please tell me should i buy xperia active, this or xperia neoV
Please tell me!
I own this phone for about a month now. Really good phone and nice OS. Glad i bought a WP7 phone and btw, i managed to get a 4 days 20 h time for the battery, with a normal use( like my old e51).
The only problem is the memory storage. 8G is NOT enough! :/
Beside that, everything is fine really.
bought this a month ago. met with not a single problem. display is awesome even wit jus s-lcd screen(not amoled).
battery lasts two days with 3hrs 2g talking, + 2hrs of wifi streaming along with few photos and audio. .
there's a lot of application in the market place, not as many as android or IOS, but yet its satisfied, jus worried that few apps and games are not free :(
of course there are limitation like no expandable memory , no bluetooth transfer, but yet its okay for my life style so am satisfied, , , many told me that the touch screen feel is competitive with Iphone, camera is great compared with phones upto 35k indian currency. i already own a i pod classic, i got the same audio quality in same headphones with this device with the help of srs inbuilt audio which is not in nokia or any other windows device; just one sync, all my facebook, gmail contacts and their details are displayed in contacts right away. working with multiple apps at same time does change the speed at all. . though its jus 1ghz single core, its really faster than expected, and happy that i didnt break my sim card whereas i should've breaked it, if i purchased nokia. android phones are available even for 2k indian currency locally, happy that this phone has its own dignity. the flash was bright as xenon, and can be used as torch too.
The 3's, 31 Mar 2012I have narrowed down to 3 handsets now, HTC Radar Samsung Omnia WI8350 Nokia Lumia 710 C... morehey man if wp is your thing then choose samsung omnia w as your wing. its got super amoled(which none of the others offer, and trust me wp is some experience via super amoled). plus omnia and radar have sec cam which is missing in nokia. but then samsung and nokia offer 1.4 ghz processors while there's one 1 ghz in radar. all three of 'em have good designs, though. so go for the omnia as you can see it has the upper hand in most cases.

This also tends to happen with Symbian Belle devices but more interns of animation overloading the crappy onboard CPU/GPU rather then the actual OS. Windows still has a way to go as you may have heard it does not support Skype, which works on Android/Symbian. So really its your pick.
I have narrowed down to 3 handsets now,
Samsung Omnia WI8350
Nokia Lumia 710
Can this group help me to select a handset for me and with reasons WHY???
Early help greatly appreciated... Thnx in adv!

I believe they've fixed those with the latest update on Mango. It's a fast phone and I haven't experienced lagging of some sort. I love this phone's design as well. It has that premium feel to it that separates it from it's samsung and nokia brothers. Get this one!

@ Sam Satriani....I own the phone since a month and by far Im very happy with overall performance...OS experience is amazing...Battery life depends on your usage but Im an average user..like 2hours of chatting..2 hours of music(via headphones),clicking 10 20 snaps a day,Playing games for 2 hours and my battery goes on for 14-15 hours...Thats decent amount of battery life
By far far this is the experience ive had with this phone...

plle, 04 Mar 2012Im not satisfy with camera of radar. Its pictures are not sharp like iphones.Lol what do you spect for that price, its not even close to the iphone price, want better camera go with HTC Titan or Nokia Lumia 800
I bought this phone a month ago. very beautiful OS. no lags, no sticking, the built of this phone is very solid and feels amazingly posh. the app store although doesnt have that many apps like on Apple app store or android app store but definitely a very good phone when compared to Android atleast but it still needs a lot of new features in future to compete with Apple iOS. the camera is very good with various free apps to edit ur pics on ur phone n later sharing it.
bluetooth is a mess coz it doesnt connect to other devices so that needs to be checked. screen size n pixel density is amazing but not as good as the Lumia 800 AMOLED screen but you will barely notice any difference trust me. there are very very few games for this phones so far but im hoping they will launch new ones eventually. front camera is very good too but ofcourse VGA but still its there n that allows you to make video calls unlike the lumia. Battery back up is absolutely amazing and i was surprized by it coz ppl kept saying that htc handsets use up more battery but i use this phone heavily n it still lasts me all day. reception is very good too, i had no problems so far. loud speaker is kinda weak but i compared it to my iPhone n Lumia n all of them were more or less same. the lack of adding extra memory is a bitch coz it has only 8 GB but i have 2.5 GB of music on mine n another 2.5 GB of apps n games n theres absolutely no lags nothing. video recording is good but you cannot pause a video recording so thats a drawback. music player is really good n so is the earphone given along with it. go for this phone if you want a posh n executive n strong built n all you want tech phone but if you're looking for a lot of games then you will have to wait as they develop more eventually. you can also change the color themes n background on this phone which really doesnt allow you to get bored so thats another plus point. lastly the live tiles are customizable n various other apps are also there to customize them n they look awesome with good pics constantly changing n all. the incoming caller has a big caller display pic along with animation so it looks really nice n cool when somes calling you. all in all amazing phone, hope this huge description helps the future buyers.
Noypi, 10 Mar 2012The philippines have their own Windows Marketplace. Its just that you can't download some due ... moreAre you sure? Mine says that the marketplace in our region is not yet available?hmmmm
i can't access the marketplace it kicks me out after the notice. I am in US region now, i can update my htc apps.
As a former iPhone 4 user, a current Mac user, and recent seller of the HTC Amaze (using Android Gingerbread)... I gotta say this - Windows Mango is an amazing OS.
No crashes, lightening fast, syncs easily with Google accounts and Mac, camera quality is OK for 5MP, very light, built very well and screen size is perfect unless you're watching movies with your phone.
Couldn't be happier with HTC's build quality and Mango OS. Can't wait for the new version of the Radar - could use 4" HD screen (not too big) and Amaze quality camera system.
BUY ONE TODAY!
I think this phone rocks but does anybody know if there's some kind of flash player on here??
