I had heard much about this Company and this phone in particular, I got it yesterday. 400 Euros (Italy). The Leather Case was not there in the pack... Still learing about the phone. The first problem I'm having is that the old messages in my SIM are cut into pieces when I insert the SIM in this phone... Anyone please???

I traded this one after I wasn't fully satisfied with the HTC 310.

About processor speed: It's all in what you expect. The only thing that takes a bit of a wait is when sliding so that the screen needs to turn. Takes exactly 1 second. In general this phone is still remarkably faster than any blackberry I've used. If you confuse this one with a Laptop you'll be dissapointed. Never compared with Nokias, but I don't remember my revo as being faster.

As to touch screen, 3G, fm radio and all that: you get what you pay for. Want touch? Get a 4350 and pay the premium. Decide upon what you want/need in a phone and be prepared to pay for what you want. But don't butcher any model that doesn't fature your needs.
I will keep this one for a few years until a pile of new tech is out again. For now, it does all I want it to do, and it does it better than the 310 as I missed the full keyboard. I also found the 310's screen too small to read emails or to have an overview in the calendar. The only thing I miss from Blackberry is the scroller. It was slow as hell, but that feature was nice.

In short: great smartphone without too many gadgets and frills

Can someone tell me if it is possible to arrange the 'desktop' icons? You can on a BlackB, didn't find yet if this one can.

well, aftar all, 265 wasnt the real price, but totally it cost 324 euro for me now.
But thats only for students!
Than you have to pay:
11 x 24
1 x 60
so together 324 euro.
For normal people: 11 x 30
1 x 85
makes together 415.
*those 11 are the monthly costs , but that is for your phoning-minutes and stuff...*

Attn HTC Product Developers,

Love this new design which incorporates a standard numeris keypad without the slideout QWERTY keyboard. My problem is a 200 mhz processor in a new phone running windows as the OS...not a good combination...should use a 400mhz processor such as QTEK 9600 and probably incorporate a scroll wheel especially for people on the road!

Lose Data when battery dies? Not true... I completely drained the battery about twice now, but never lost any data.

Hoping for some clarification?
- I have heard that if battery dies on these HTC's that you loose all your data on the phone and have to synchronise from scratch again? Is this true?

To those bashing WElectronics. I've only ordered from them once, via phone and they were great. I ordered a Nokia e65 and the gentleman was very friendly, answered all my questions and my device was in my hands the next day. Not sure what could have happened to your order's but for me they were great.
