this is absolutley the worst phone that i have ever had.. it has so many problems!! the screen just turns off whenever it wants to and mxit continuously freezes.. please do me a favour and DONT BUY THIS PHONE..

Hi, few friends have the S710, not one has had problems with it. 3 friends have had it for 5 months or more and still running great. I got mine for a month now and loving it, great device!!!

I bought myself the htc s710 last week. Great phone but i have a probelem. I downloaded mxit and as soon as i go to java to open te app. mxit freezes. not the phone only mxit. i have reinstalled it 5 times. can any body help

how do i reset this phone? i can remember the phone password.. so i need to reset it. wihtout turning the phone on. plz help anyone:)?

leaf navigation can be downloaded and works perfect as a route finder, but the phone doesnt have a a GPS receiver like tytn II so you cant see your position

Can anyone tell me if the integrated GPS navigation system can be downloaded into this phone? If so does it work perfectly like in other models?

the htc s710 i a great all round smartphone. it has all the features of WM in a small compact design. I've had my s710 for a while now and havn't had any problems with it(im from SA too.)its way better than the htc p3400 or SE w910i that i had in both speed and functions. i would definitely recommend this phone to anybody considering it

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME? I am using this phone since last 3 months. But now I am facing a problem, my phone is not getting start. it is starting & immediately shout down. It is not even showing me any screen. when I try to switch it on it reapet on & off for ever. please help, tell me how I can overcome from this Proble?

After 3 month the on/off button became faulty. Don't expect speedy service if you take your phone in to HTC (South Africa) to be repaired. Expect to wait around 15 working days. I could expect that if i went through a cell shop so that they can send it in but not if i take it directly to HTC

This phone is terrible...It performs fairly for the first 3 months then you get stupid faults coming up like the central select key stops working and HTC has no interest in what goes ona after you buy the phone...

I bought it twice: first one had the battery overheating (happened on the first day) so I claimed warranty and got my money back. Then, stupid me, I bought it again: few happy months then the screen started going off while the keyboard backlight happily flicks on. Then the whole phone started going off and on all on its own so I claim warranty - AGAIN. They say it's repairable so I give it out for repairs: two months later they give it back to me, unfixed. Now, I could make a fuss but I choose to wait for the SE XPERIA. Total baqwas.

Hint - If u dnt kno th difference between ROM & RAM, i suggest u DON'T buy dis fone.

Its a Great phone , design is excellent . all the windows mobiles are little bulcky but this special HTC s710 is great with small key board. Battery life is good . Camera is little poor quality . WiFi and blue tooth are also good.the most good thing is you can use the phone with one hand even after opening the key board.Thanks HTC for this great design.
