hi everyone..actually i am very very confused between htc fones r dey dopods?n do dey work for a long time..i reside in india.new delhi..any service stations..and afterall is there any gps software which i cn download and use in ths fone??please reply me at ur earliert i hav 2hav it tommorow.

Howz the speakerphone on this and is the mp3 player easy to use? Also is there a voice recorder and how long does it record?

I HAVE THE HTC NOW 2 MONTHS, ITS GREAT PHONE, SOUND IS PERFECT, INTERNET IS FAST, PHOTOs are very good, video clips looks like divx. msn messenger is fast also.
the best phone i have.

First battery charging is reccommended for 12 hours. I charged it for 12 hours for the first time, even it showed that it was charged like 50%. My batter goes upto 3-3.5 days now if I charge it full...

is is e same as C500? i think it is rite? i hope this hope is not bad by e way is it diffcult to surf e net as its not a touch screen phone? i saw alot of user saying that e battery is sucky? i hope to hear more comments as im thinking of getting this phone thanks :)

hey everyone! just got the S710 and so far so good. One question, does anyone else think the sliding qwerty mechanism is not stiff enough? meaning it's a little slidy when your thumb is against it and the phone is "closed". I'm wondering if I should return mine or if this is common.

As this hasn't got a touch screen, how do you navigate around it? I'm used to an iPAQ and can't see how you "click" on icons etc?

Yes, it works perfectly with Skype, make sure you download the version for Pocket PC.
I use it, it has no problems at all.
It's a great phone, enjoy it.

Have you tried any IM softwares on this phone like verichat ,IM+ ,agile messenger.the phone looks fine will consider it if IM softwares work fine on it.

No 3G is really a killer for the phone. If 3G was there....it was MAX.

I've had the HTC S710 for a few days and have decided that I really am not a big fan. I had sync problems with it and the keyboard is very stiff and harder to use than the HTC Excalibur (Dash) I have been using. I found it harder to use than the Dash with it's dedicated keyboard. The phone is beautiful, but just not my cup of tea. I plan to stick with the Dash or another phone with a dedicated keyboard.
