Is it user friendly? I want to view gmail on the go send off a few mails play odd game here there listen to music photo video feature? etc Looks Good but functionality? Reliability? Ease of use... I am a technophobia

gosh you don't need to be so harsh. what's wrong with asking a questions about something you have never used. I happened to have some very nice winnie the pooh themes on smart phone now. I am sorry for asking silly question but it my first phone of this kind.

Definetly the S710, Nokia E61 is ok but the slide qwerty keyboard and windows operating system (normal word/excel/outlook) of the S710 beats it bigtime

im so happy that i got this phone..this is a breath of fresh air after using nokia. its packed with features and is quite fast for a smartfone. got this one in delhi and they do have good support as well... small nags thogh..havent found helkp on sending sms's to multiple users and the wifi setup is too simplistic..rest its a damn good phone..

Can anyone tell me how to tune to radio stations? I tried to surf the net and the phone is painfully too slow, how can I speed it up?

I bought the S710 a few days back. It was really good to own the phone but I was a little disappointed to see that that the phone connects with my Nokia BH 900 headset but I cannot listen to the incoimg call whereas I can listen while I am making a outbound call, I found is really annoying. The battery is very very non business. It hardly gives a 2 to 3 hrs talktime. I have to charge the phone atleast once/twice in the middle of the day.
The voice clarity is good however the while using the speaker phone the caller cannot hear you loud and clear.
The wired handsfree, provided alongwith the phone, has a similar problem, while the audio is good the person on the other side cannot hear you clearly.
The Voice recognition is very very sensitive, it means you have to speak in the American tone or else it will dial David instead of Trevis. The digit dialing is also way too sensitive, dial 2 instead of 5.
The camera is great and the features are nice but you need to press multiple menu items to reach the desired option.
The network and Bluetooth indicator on the earpeice looks good.
When you slide out the keyboard, the chime played is uneven and there is a 3 sec delay in switching from portrait to landscape display.
The GPRS/EDGE connection is not terminated when all browser pages are closed and the GPRS/EDGE is no longer being used. It has to be done manually by pressing a series of buttons. It drains the battery further.
The vibrator does not pulsate with the music and is a constant buzz which is not what is desired.
There are only 2 inbuilt games (Solitaire and Bubble Breaker). It should have come with a few more arcade/adventure games.
Uverall a good phone which looks awesome but lacks few important details.
Overall 7/10
