I bought it twice: first one had the battery overheating (happened on the first day) so I claimed warranty and got my money back. Then, stupid me, I bought it again: few happy months then the screen started going off while the keyboard backlight happily flicks on. Then the whole phone started going off and on all on its own so I claim warranty - AGAIN. They say it's repairable so I give it out for repairs: two months later they give it back to me, unfixed. Now, I could make a fuss but I choose to wait for the SE XPERIA. Total baqwas.

Hint - If u dnt kno th difference between ROM & RAM, i suggest u DON'T buy dis fone.

Its a Great phone , design is excellent . all the windows mobiles are little bulcky but this special HTC s710 is great with small key board. Battery life is good . Camera is little poor quality . WiFi and blue tooth are also good.the most good thing is you can use the phone with one hand even after opening the key board.Thanks HTC for this great design.

Hi, This phone is excellent value for money, but the included ROM sucks ;). Try Dr. Gonzo's ROM from forum.xda-developers.com and you will be surprised. Trust me :)

HTC S710 Specification is:
64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM
TI OMAP 850, 200 Mhz processor

Imate SP5m Specification is:
64 MB RAM, 64 MB ROM
TI OMAP 850, 200 Mhz processor

HTC S710 & Imate SP5m has same 200 mhz processor & 64 mb RAM, but ROM is different.

What defines operation speed of mobile RAM or ROM or Processor?

Do not buy from Welectronics.com they offer things that they do not have. You have to contact them and find out that they will not be sending you what you ordered. they suck.

Use Opera mobile... It is the THE BEST browser for windows mobile...Superb

Hi guys

I am going to get an upgrade soona and my options are the S710 Vox, Nokia 6110 Navigator and the samsung G600. Please advise whether it would be a good move to get the VOX or to go with the other phones...

When I type long messages in java using operamini withe the keyboard, the phone won't let me go further down the original screen, ie won't scroll down or let me type any further. Is there a solution? Thanks
