On a serious note HTC should not cut the RAM on this device. Afterall it has the SAME processor as TyTN II so it should have the same128MB RAM so that there will be less headache when multitasking. Since it has not been released yet they still have a chance to ammend this oversite. Furthermore I understand that FM is not included. I cannot comprehend why HTC feel that attaining business news via the radio is unimportant.

Jezebel, this would have been the smartphone version of the TyTN II if they had implemented 128MB RAM instead of 64MB! I don't understand why they cut the RAM. This is no longer the S710!!

this is from engadget, so i'm holding out hope for US 3g bands:

The S730 is just what we heard: 400MHz Qualcomm processor, "worldwide 3G," HSDPA data, WiFi (of course), auto-sliding QWERTY, and Windows Mobile 6 with 256MB of flash memory.

hmm, those were the specs from http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=728

the specs there were updated yesterday, but official htc site does only say 2100, which would suck.

the S730 is basically the smartphone (Windows Mobile Standard) version of the Tytn 2 (Kaiser), so it is smaller, but no touchscreen. if you are dying for the touch screen, get the Tytn 2, personally i like the smaller form factor.

the s730 is listed as having GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850, UMTS1900, UMTS2100.
so it should work on at&t in the usa (which is umts 850 & 1900).

Your quoted as saying "The device has quad-band GSM/EDGE" but the specs here only list tri-bands... please fix
