This is the best phone I have ever used. The hardware is powerful and complete. The software could be a bit better, but it is good (esp after installing Opera Mini 5 for Windows Mobile).
Just to be clear, it can't be compared to the trendy touchscreens out there simply because they have different appeals (Can you use your iPhone with one hand comfortably?)
And I don't care about prettiness; usability is king!

Gosh, what an awful phone. Some of my issues...
- Freezing
- Closing one app/function, opens another
- QWERTY keyboard no good on a flat surface
- USB cable very flimsy
... and more.
Packed it back in its box, and stashed it in a cupboard, for when I hate someone so much, that I can give it to them.
Have now bought a Blackberry Curve, and FIRST CLASS!

I need to configure a MS Exchange email account in my S740. I only see options for POP & IMAP servers. Does the S740 support Exchange? Can it be added somehow?
Lovely device.

"guide for dimmies"
dude you van directly install ".cab" extensions but not ".exe"
you need "active sync" for older versions of windows and "windows mobile device center" for "vista" and later.....after syncing to your "pocket pc" using the software's guide or one from the internet then run your your ".exe" application on "windows" and follow the on-screen instructions.....it'll extract the ".cab" to your phone which can then install like the rest of the ".cabs"....
ssseee yah !!!
