With this coming at 1.2 Ghz 'may have' a winner is clearly an understatement. All good companies will be aware of peer reviews such as GSMARENA, and do not produce in a vacuum, clearly they know that this phone would immediately become its flagship. It would be speculation on my part as to the name change, from Pyramid to (cause a) SENSATION, is by design! The recent review of the SGS2 should be an indication of the 'ball park' this model clearly sits. Even though attention is focussed on the SGS 2 a comment I have read a number of times is what the SGS 2 would be like if it had Sense 3.0 UI, we have a dual core with 3.0.

In terms of picture-taking - check out the mobile-review.com review of Galaxy S2 - it does an amazing comparisons with truckloads of example pictures - and even states that it beats the Arc for pictures...
I will agree with you on design though... it looks nicer than the GS2! But not quite there with the specs...
Now if you'd said "Evo 3D" (or Sensation 3D or whatever it'll be called) or Doubleshot... now you're getting interesting...
[deleted post]I saw in the SGS2 forum that U sold your phone. What now the SENSATION? As u replied 2 questions positively & some require 100% loyalty, I was wondering if this is 'more' your phone due 2 the UI & that U had Launcher Pro on the SGS2
Good Specifications. But one question... Why HTC is not making standing leg for all hte touch phones except HD7 ? I see this in Thundrbold,Evo 4G. All these are regional phone. why HTC is not making for rest of the world.
ive never liked any phone in the market yet till ive seen this htc sensation specs. i would definitely purchase this phone it has all the things that i ever wanted on a phone.
thanks to htc
Day 102, 14 May 2011Yes you are right the more apps you download to the phone the LESS shared memory you have. I ... moreAcctually it is completly different in Android you only can download to the mem card and you cann't d/l to the phone mem I think for the Sensation It will be partetioned same as Incredible S which gaive around 650MB for user application installation which is completly enough as gingerbrid also support A2SD.
Well, Id take Samsung Galaxy S 2 cause it has Richer Codec Support and Thats Really important!
Galaxy S 2 has better Camera than this Dog,
i Have Desire HD 2.3. and it is great! but
Cant play MKV files any sort! Poor codec support.
Vulcan, 13 May 2011hi everybody. They tell its internal memory is not sufficient for storing downloaded apps but ... more@Vulcan: Some apps cannot be moved to SD card, like google maps, facebook, adobee flash, sonos controller etc. My HTC Desire has already run out of space because of which I'm forced to upgrade so soon. I hope 1GB is enough, because I love HTC phones & have pre-ordered the sensation.
Anonymous, 13 May 2011Pre order my one and been told it should be with me on the 16thof may What network let you preorder it? Vodafone?
Vulcan, 13 May 2011hi everybody. They tell its internal memory is not sufficient for storing downloaded apps but ... moreYes you are right the more apps you download to the phone the LESS shared memory you have.
I will tell you what I do know.
Sometimes downloaded apps can ONLY be placed onto the phone memory they is NO option to save it elsewhere.
However on my Nokia I never tried to directly D/L to the phone via USB, I d/l the apps to my computers desktop then I moved it to the memory card. I installed it again on the memory card never on the phone.
Now i dont't know the size of the apps you intend to d/l they may be small in regards to the 1Gb so may not make that much of a difference.
This option did work for me, it may be that d/l apps must be saved to a hard drive of sorts.
Finally what you should realise that it is extremely important to use the highest rating class microsd card.
Going back to Nokia the N900 uses the MEEGO system and it recognised there may lags if you use LESS than a class 6 card, The processor is not slow just accessing the information on the card, A class 6 is 3 times "faster" (see wiki) than a class 2.
In short what I am saying is that if you connect the phone and d/l direct there may be no option to store it onto the microsd, apps I d/loaded to memory cards worked but that was "another model" I'm sounding like an advert sorry.
