For me, it having a single core processor is not a problem as it saves battery and single core or dual core, 1.5Ghz is more than enough for a phone. The screen is also not a problem as i wouldn't notice the difference between amoled or slcd without putting them side by side. What i really don't like is that it doesn't have microsd slot and with only 16gb of storage (less if you subtract memory eaten by OS and sense ui) it will take me no time to fill this up. HTC shouldn't have removed the microsd card slot.

Nokia in 2008 had phones with 8 MP camera, NOT with 10 MP. 8 MP is the standard this year, and 12 will be the standard next year! Samsung and SE will come with 12 MP smart phones in February at MWC.

PROCESSOR:
1.5 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset..............WTF! Isn’t this a down grade from 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 GPU, Qualcomm MSM 8260 Snapdragonon that the Sensation XE has?


RAM:
768 MB RAM. Let’s keep up with the competition (iphone & galaxy) and offer the standard ram for smart phones these days and do 1GB RAM!

NETWORK:
3G .......WTF happened to the optional 4G!!

EXTERNAL MEMORY:
none?! the Sensation XE and other models all have card slots; microSD!! Why not on this one?

CAMERA:
8MP that seems to be the standard with the competition now, Nokia 3 years ago came out with a phone that has 10 mega pixels. let's keep up with everybody!

VIDEO;
720p…… Again we're going backwards hear. The sensation XE has 1080p@30fps, stereo sound recording. What's wrong w/ this picture?

DISPLAY:
480 x 800 pixels...the sensation XE has 540 x 960 pixels & the iphone 4S has 960 x 640-pixel resolution @ 326 ppi. Let's get it together guys.

BATTERY:
Standard battery, Li-Ion 1600 mAh. Why? if u could put a: Li-Ion 1730 mAh just like sensation xe. I know the XL has room because it's a bigger phone.

I love HTC phones and I want to purchase the XL. But when one make an investment of more than $700 on a mobile phone; one expects the very least have the same or even better specs than your competition

How many songs and how many movies can u store in 16GB? I have a 64GB iPod touch and I can't store all of my music. I think this phone is a sample for XL HD or XL 2 or whatever, this phone is too high tech for my grandpa and too low tech for me or my son. Do something more HTC! To keep your value

dual core only usefull for multitasking so a 1.5 Ghz single core is very fast. Screen is only +- 10% less clear as Galaxy S2 so you won't notice that much.
Seems like a great phone to me (love the size)

the price of this phone will drop very fast . coz HTC comes out with too many phones in one year. learn from apple please.

I dont know why every one is upset about this phone do to the fact it runs on a single snpdragon..its not made for competing with other phones even though on some level it can. This device is build for ppl who love listening to music and movies with a plus long battery life, and the cpu quite fast.even though its one core...this phone can do every thing a galaxy s 2 would..just wait a lilbit the doulcore version is going to be anounced

Hello HTC...learn from Sammy. Give us a
dual.core and more pixels and you have a
winner.Sammy is so good bcos they have
the best of every in one phone.

Samsung Galaxy S2 or S2 LTE can put this phone to shame, in terms of spec and CPU.
