Also, it would be great to have ALL connectivity options, like infrared, bluetooth, WiFi, USB, ... (infrared seems to be missing from features list)

Obviously, this great device shall not lag behind in camera. There shall be two cameras. One for web-cam/video call and another for high-resolution and high speed (low exposure, stable and crystal clear picture) possibly with autofocus.

Don't know if this phone can charge itself if attached to USB. It MUST do so.

3.5G connectivity bandwidth not known, shall be highest available.

DEFINATE future of mobile computing. Laptop carrying is hectic. Maybe with UNIX or at the least LINUX options with it, will help a LOT in capturing the market. If it ships with UNIX/LINUX, in reasonable cost, I'll be 1st buyer!

Regards, HTC!

it looks interesting, but on the real i wouldnt like to phone with that, i mean it is an all-in-on communicating device, but with the iphone coming up i would rather get that, for this price you could get an even faster laptop/computer with an iphone, you would look cooler and have a more effecient device to manage your files (personal or business)

Personally I think this could be the perfect tool for sale forces and mobile management. It’s powerful and fast enough to access the web and web based application. Run all your PIM and office requirements, show and store all your presentations. Pull out laptop your laptop and wait for it to power up I could have walked into your client office presented, signed the deal by introducing him to our director using the 3G video calling. Why have a laptop if you don’t need it. This type of device with a bluetooth headset it the way to go

Sigh, why can't they put WM6 on this? The CPU would be great for WM6 but Vista??? It's gonna take forever to do anything with a 1.2

Give me a sec, I need to look up a contact. 5 min later, Outlook is still loading.

In my opinion it is neither...

It's not a REAL laptop yet as the resolution is high, but not quite high enough...but it is no longer a PDA or a phone.

It's somewhere in the middle.

I would like to see it perform some decent tasks, even though the specs are there I doubt it will be very convenient to run graphics progams (Photoshop etc.) on this machine. But then again... it was probably never made for that.

Really glad to see though that mobile technology is mergin so quickly, the next two to five years will be nothing like this...

this is a good idea... but i think it lacks one feature that would make it the ultimate all in one package. A GPS, they did it with the advantage. If it had a GPS I think it would be great for Aviators, Private/comercial. maybe Garmin and HTC could brain storm that one! i would like one of those!
