> In reply to Ghazall_Ampang @ 2009-04-10 17:11 from tVs5If you can't say anything intelligent please do not bother posting a comment and wasting space and people's time reading it. I am quite sure the handset name is derived by more than the camera pixels. Possibly the OEM is trying to create a catchy name based on handset functionality for branding and marketing purposes.

Most of us who look at these phones, don't just call with them. I check emails, ammend documents, etc in addition to using the phone features with my smartphone.

> In reply to greg @ 2009-04-08 17:45 from NM6NNothing wrong with BES, although that being said, it is very interesting that RIM handsets now are able to connect to Microsoft Exchange Servers (hell even the iphone is able to accept push emails from Microsoft Exchange Servers now), which shows that MS is fast posing a real threat to BES.
BES is a really good system, but the actual handsets are showing their age. Their underlying menus are worse than WM. It would be interesting to see what RIM will come out with next, esp since that other than email management, WM has a much better business suite.
And if you think WM is slow, have a play with the Touch 3G. It is possibly the fastest smartphone around. It's lag is similar to that of a basic phone. This has similar specs but would use even less resources as its non-touchscreen. I would say that RIM has to be very afraid of this phone.

this phone has to many buttons.
Why would you need so many buttons if you need a phone to call with? I wanted to call my grandmother, so why need 40 buttons on a phone.
If you leave 30 buttons, and make the phone 50 dollar cheaper than people would be quite happier. Cos the morge buttons, the faster the phone also will be defect.
Or leave some buttons, and use the money for a bigger screen.
All and all, we can conclude that this many buttons will only make this phone worth less. so to conclude less is more!

For all those commenting bad about Blackberry, keep it to yourself good? Blackberry is not forcing you to buy their handset. Not everyone for christ sakes have the same tastes like you all. Bytheway it's true about BB connect u can use it, why not STILL u need a BIS or BES account to let it work properly.
BB has revolutionized the way email should be sent and recieved, not to mention their BB messenger wich beats standard SMS. It's nice to PIN someone without paying the extra. No other handset beats BB push email. So stop crying wich is best,BB is for real people not for moaners..that wants everything on a handset even if a company comes with one, they still moan because of the price tag.

This phone has an interesting design. I really love the trackball built into this like blackberry. I hope Windows runs fast on it.
This can sell well if HTC makes it a good package.

> In reply to mr bond @ 2009-04-04 02:06 from TIE7Yes, run 8900 run. I'm about the same size, and can do everything you can (yes with blackberry connect software WM can receive BES pushmails), with more features (i.e. 3G), and with a non-dated OS that cannot be improved upon.

this phone is great i love the design. To all those that said this is a copy of blackberry or motorola Q11 just take a look at the HTC S620. This seems like a refresh of the S620 but with newer specs. Too bad this didn't come to Tmobile USA with T MObile USA 3g Capabilities. I would get rid of my G1 ASAP for this phone, I had the tmobile dash for a short period, besides the fact that it was slow and would run out of memory really quick it had a great qwerty.
