Hi, i am planning to buy this phone. i just whated to know. will i be able to install programs like computer?. i mean yahoo.messegner for voice chat. simple programs designed for pc. what will be the extension of these files. exe file or eles

hi guys...i bought the touch its not bad but its not that fast in processor....after i downloaded the skype on it ...it starts to say a that low storage data and i should remove unused programs ...but i didn't download many stuff so how to manage this problem plus i downloaded the file on the storage card not the phone memory...my card is 4gb...thanx

I did a lot of research before I decided on this phone. I was looking for a handset with a good balance of all futures. This one did it for me. I have had it for a week now and I haven't had any problems thus far except that I cannot send text messages. That I do know however is a problem with my service provider Vodacom South Africa which employs a bunch of incompetent service representatives which is typical of South Africa.
I would not recommend this phone for the average user. It was designed having the typical technically orientated user in mind which suits me perfectly. The unit's operating system is a little sluggish at times and it does not have GPS or 3G.
To reiterate, its not a cellphone, it's not an Ipod, it's not a PC, it's not a gaming device, it's not an email client, it's not an Internet browser, it's not a digital camera. It is indeed a good balanced device that includes all these futures.
Looking at all the mentioned pro's and cons, the pro's definitely weighs more than the cons and I can therefore recommend this device.

hey everyone.....ive been usng nokia fones since ever...i wanted a kindof change...i thought of the htc..i dunno weather i am on the right track or not....ive read almost most of the opinions some ppl are satsfied with it others arent i dunno wt 2 do or wt 2 buy? i wish i cud find any help.....help!!

I was wondering if HTC touch is compatible with Parrot?, Does it have the A2DP profile? Cause I listen my phone music on my stereo? so, anyone?

I hv been using O2 XDA 11 for 3 years, still working well, could not find any faults in it except sometimes it hang which is very normal for a PDA. One thing lacking though is the fact that it does not have wireless Lan so after considering and calculating I have decided to get the HTC Touch, mainly b'cos it's small and after all most PDA delivers the same. But how wrong was I! It is worse than my 3 yr old 02! It's so slow that you feel you r in the slow motion world and the battery finish off very fast. I don know why they call it touch when you need to touch many times before the application appears. I don think I would recommemd this to anyone.

The HTC Touch is a great phone and i find that it is easy to use and i have upgraded mine and it now has more features that i have been able to download. More games and more feature for the TouchFlo, Windows media player skins, wireless remote, themes, and lots more.
