some body know tat the processor compare to O2 atom, which one is faster?
O2 atom is running Intel PXA272 416MHz while HTC Touch is running with TI's OMAP 850 201MHZ.
Anyone know? Please tell me.

@cymbalrocks

If you're a heavy texter, this phone isn't for you. :)
I mean, you can text, but not as fast as with a TyTN, anyway.

Sushanth, Why you need CD to put software and music into the HTC. Just download activesync 4.5 from the net and connect your HTC and find your storage card and copy anything you like. About some other enquiries regarding keyboard, photo quality free software info/link and the review of the HTC use this useful link http://www.venukb.com/blog/200...-smartphone/

Hello phone lovers...
Love this phone but i wont get it now coz i've just read in the net that there is an upgrade version of Touch...e.g. from 200 Mhz to 400 Mhz...can't wait to see the outcome :)

Quick question guys (those who have one and are using it),

given that the screen is 2.8", which is about the same size as the TyTN/Imate Jasjam, how diffcult is it to use the touch screen with your fingers? I ask this because the previous phones with the same screen size utilized a stylus which is significantly slimmer than a finger. Any navigation issues? Any issues typing sms/emails or in word through the pop up qwerty?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Well i had the same problem in connecting the phone. But i thought that there was a problem with my computer so i had to reformat my computer.. after formating my computer i just installed the software that came with the cd some active thing.. then after that its ok .. once i connect da phone to the computer it detects as another device...

I;m going to help you all out with all your questions. Goto to www.xda-developers.com, click on forums and look for the HTC Elf. Here will help you with the weather for more than the listed cities and setup for various networks. I have had this phone for a couple of months now and love it. I have it on cincinnati Bell Wireless and have had it on Tmobile USA networks.

Does it have handwriting recognition. I mean, like some PDAs, where we can write anywhere on the screen with the stylus and the words just show up on-screen automatically.

Does it support such a function, or do we need to use the tiny virtual on-screen keyboard "only"? :-(

just picked up my Smart Phone yesterday and am very impressed, loaded with many features.

Bought from Vodafone for $186 AUD on my super cap ($79 pm) plan which now includes 100 minutes Vodafone to Vodafone customers for free.

Set my Wifi up which will deliver so much mobility for keeping in touch with emails etc.

Well done HTC.....a very good over all package!
