This phone is killing me after 5 days. Call and end buttons freeze, phone is being recognized by my computer and the battery dies in 5 minutes, but takes hours to charge. Some please tell me how to get these buttons to work!

lebron: the screen is in between the two. not as thin and easily cracked but not hard either. you have to apply a bit more pressure when you use a stylus but just perfect to press buttons with your finger.

mac: It's more likely the data connection not the city problem. Check your network service.

Played with this for the first time today. Slim but solidly built. The grip is perfect. It has a slight roughness for traction and is unusual as most pda casings are shiny / smooth and devours oil and dirt. I was surprised by how smooth the Touchflo thingie works. It really has a cool unique interface unmatched by other WM phones by HTC, O2, iMate etc. Temptingly cute and cheap. The only negative is the less powerful processor. It would be perfect for non heavy-duty usage (i.e. most people!) and those who hates big bulky phones bursting the seams of their pockets (don't feel a thing in my pocket!).

Can someone clarify me the following?
- Has anyone tried the 'phonepad' application on this phone for text entry?
- Does this have voice dialing/command that can work through bluetooth headset?
- Can the phone work in landscape mode while entering text (eg. for messaging)?
Thanks

Excellent. I ve been using this phone for a week and I am really very excited. All its features work perfectly. I connect it to wireless access points to get my mails and update the weather info but I especially use skype for my call abroad. Its a great tool and must-have for everyone.
Thanks.

I've had this phone for 3 days now and I can say that it holds a signal better than any other phone i've owned and i've owned a lot! Will make a call with little signal and hold it without dropping, where my other phones won't even get a signal never mind dial out. The looks are superb. One VERY happy owner.

I had seen this phone and play with it..the sound is much louder than HP rw6828..more function, everything the same except processor where HP win with 416Mhz compare to Touch 200Mhz..but overall, this phone really impress me with the touch function..i give it 8/10 also.

From my opinion, I think this HTC Touch has more resemblance of "phone" with PDA features, not mobile "notebook" with phone feature.
Wi-Fi would be useful in case if you are trying to download some contents/e-mails over Internet, not to keep connecting and use this HTC Touch in place of desktop or notebook.
"Over-hyped"? I think that would be true if you only look at "Touch-Flo" and try to compare this phone against iPhone. In fact, I think the main strong point for this phone is slim design + lower power consumption in comparison to HP or O2, which would normally last only for 1 day max.

I ve bought this phone recently, & feel its been overhyped. Once my contacts had been loaded the camera doe not work , the whole sytem is slow, u need to shut down all the programmes running , & by the time u do all that, The monet for capturing the photo passes by. The phone is a toy phone & not a Hevay duty business phone loke blakberry for senior executives. Moreover many of the
Windows Mobile 6 fearures are missing from what was demonstrated.
