Oh and TouchFlo is activated on the today screen by sliding with your finger from the center botom part upwards.
And it does recognise handwriting. It's a feature you have to select next to the little keyboard sign.
So i guess it's a great phone after all!!!

I just got myself one of these. it's my first touch screen phone after i've several nokia smartphones. Got it from Hong Kong and i got it for around 3750 dollar. If anyone is going to Hong Kong to get a phone like this, I'd highly suggest you visit several shops as i had someone asking 5200 dollar and then i got it from someone else for 3750.
But other than that it works allrite. Still ttrying to figure out how a few things work.
But a great phone so far!!!

I have used soo many PDA phones... But HTC Touch is the best i liked. The features and the small design are awesome. The camera and sound quality is great. If you guys want to buy this don't think just go for it. I Love my Touch....

HTC have cracked the 'i cant be botherd to wait for the iphone market!' Believe me this will have no value when the big boys, i.e. Nokia and SE get into this market.

Just get it from uk here. is under contract which got this phone free from orange network. if compare price with malaysia it is uch more cheaper. coz i only pay 30 pound a month n last for 12 month. total pay will be 360pound which equal rm2+++ but i will get free call minutes.

the phone design is very nice, and the touchflo is brilliant. the phone is valuable, it will free with 1gb micro sd, screen protect pad, 2 styles, and very great long lasting battery (can use up to 3 days with standby move). The phone sound quality very nice, camera phote up to standard.

But the only problem was the Ram. 64mb is too less. Processor not fast enough, sometime it will lack.

But overall to said it is a best buy pda at the moment. I would recommended.

Someone is playing with the performance voting system. It received more than 150 votes since yesterday. so performance can get a 0.1 increase. It's fishy if you ask me. To be fair, this is the fastest PPC using a OMAP CPU. See benchmark below. A lot of owners are happy with the performance but I am one of those who is not.

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback concerning a particular function of the handset... Basically what i would be mainly looking for is a phone that would allow me to organize my tasks and appointments. I wanted to know if there is an embedded agenda or planner and if so if you could let me know how well it operates. I am somewhat confused as to the overall performance rating of the handset as well. I would appreciate it if someone could let me know if the overall performance is REALLY a 6.3. Thank you!!

Language can only be changed by replacing the ROM/ Firmware. This then invalidates the warranty and is in effect a pirate copy of Windows Mobile.

In short - if it's not in your language of choice, then you bought the wrong one.

I just bought this phone and let me tell you... It's the best phone I've ever had.

Everything about it is just wonder full... but there is one flaw...

It does not have handwriting recognition. So the information on this site about the Touch is incorrect...

Even though it doesn't handwriting recognition it's still the best phone ever...
