I don't know whether it is due to the difference in features between regions, but unlike what the review has claimed about a compact qwerty virtual keyboard, the Touch2 which I bought only comes with a full qwerty virtual keyboard. This makes it very easy to type wrongly.

Oh, and I bought this phone in Singapore.

Im an avid Htc supporter, got my htc touch2 after having its predesesor htc touch, 1. its a powerful little phone, lots a dinky apps and power, touchflo goes smoothly and works well, someone posted the heat problem, since being a smart phone it does heat up a bit in terms of prolonged app use due to the way its put together, htc does state this in their FAQ's. its like an computer remmember. in general i am happy with the product and have had not one single problem with this phone or its predesesor. box was just a bit empty compared to the touch's. as with the previous phone i got the manual, disks, extra stylus, screen protector(has the economic crunch hit them too?)all reshearch had to be done via the web. for first time users i recomend you go to the htc website as they have a extensive manual you can browse through. i like the fact that ist slimmer and finnished of well compared to the bulky touch(which was a pretty decend phone, RESPECT) i would recomend the touch 2 to anyone as it becomes part of your life in such a way that you cannot go back to any other brand. you would not be able to live life without it in a mere 3 months of using it. Overall, thanks HTC for delivering yet another great product.

Ps. My Wifi works perfectly.

Battery life is superb. played mp3s for about 6-7 hours and surfed a little of the web for about 10 mins. made 3 t minute calls the phone is at 50% after 12 and a half hours. Although the loudspeaker is tinny,the volume is loud ebough for ring tones, etc. the call quality is excellent and the quality through headphones is fantastic. Videos on this HTC device plays without any skipping. Comes with windows mobile 3.5 straight from the box but you'll want to stick with the touch flo.

Bought this phone 7 days back. My experience with this phone is a mixed one. Liked few features the best being elegant touch flo. But i experienced some sound -ve things 1 -> phone heats up quickly. Even with a 5 min call your ear heats up and u wudn't like to continue the call. 2 -> the phone vastly need a camera click button. Image shakes easily when you try to touch the screen to capture, you need to be very in fact extremely careful while capturing an image. 3 -> After hanging up the call the screen hangs up for a while and takes time to return to normal state. Also if u type something on call after hanging up the call you will not be able to retrieve the data. 4 -> I guess this is a windows bug, i tried to activate the lock feature which after enabling will ask you for password each time the phone goes to an idle state. I found irritating to enter the key always to unlock my phone and disabled the same, after which i was unable to unlock the phone. i had to remove the battery to start the phone again.
On a whole I am bit disappointed with the phone.

its a great phone but its speaker is embedded at its back so u wont have a great sound pleasure and wont listen if u keep in pocket but headset clarity is superb. its a average phone

Hi. I'm thinking of getting this phone tomorrow. Overall, is this phone good?

I read reviews from CNET and GMSArena, the ratings are quite good.

I love the phone for its 3.5mm phone jack. The current phone I'm using needs an external adapter and it's troublesome.

Is there any good reviews on this phone?
