htc3g is a very nice phone,the only thing that is bad is that it goes to standby mode during calling.

3G does not have accelerometer but HD and diamond do have. all these 3 are different ranges. you may want to check the prices of all the models. processor is more or less the same in all the models. RAM is different. 3G is a very good model for the price.

Hi guys, i'm planning to buy a HTC 3G, but still wondering between touch diamond, HTC HD and HTC 3g, which one is better? i heard that touch diamond's battery is not good, is it correct? plzz reply, thank you

i got it 2 months back it was 21k with 4GBmem
i herd the price has dropped to around 18k so pls chek before u buy im at bngalore i got it at koramangala this shop is opp to icici bank next to the SBI bank goodluck im loving this phone

You will have to change your ROM. You will have to install www ROM. Link is may have to change your ROM to English or WWW ROM link is below. Just download and install and follow the directions. (Note: You will loose any information on the phone. Memory card contents will not be affected.)

2 things you must do..
First you may want to upgrade your ROM to the latest ROM. Link is available in one of my post (by SS) just search for it and go through the entire thread before upgrading (as you will loose all info on the phone) The new ROM is great, faster and more battery efficient.
Second you may want to install the remote tracker.. this will help recover your phone when its lost or stolen. Even if the SIM is changed, it will send the details of the new SIM to the phone number fed in the tracker software. With a little modification, this tracker software can be made hard reset proof, which means that even if the person who stole the phone formats your phone, the tracker software will still be there and will keep sending you the location of the phone on your backup number. The tracker lisk is posted in one of my posts. Just search for it.
