This is hideously ugly - why not just upgrade the Touch, a beautiful piece

Though I am but a "rookie" in the feild of bussiness orientated phones I have come to love the HTC way of thinking, if compared to other such phones on the market it is clear that even if the HTC proccesor is not the best performing there are other features that clearly set it above the rest, HTC tries (and more often than not succeed) in bringing a new standerd to the 'smart phone/pocket pc' scope. As I am but a humble student I know that "price" does play a big role aswell, but taking into consederation what this "pocket pc" offers I think it is well worth every penny. I would like to thank HTC from the bottom of my heart for showing us mortals what can be accomplished with vision and dreams... this phone gets my thumbs up...

Dont get too excited about WM6 devices. Try it out 1st if you have a chance to do so, coz you dont want to end up disappointed later. Belief me, in terms of OS, nothing beat Symbian, QNX, or Unixes. Having so many features stuffed in the small device like that and asking the processor of that speed to perform wonder is just plain dump and stupid.

I'm excited. I had the Touch for a while and loved it, just wished it had a few extras (better camera, better Processor, maybe add GPS). And what do you know, HTC heard my crys! So far this is what I'll sell my unlocked iPhone for.

I personally like the fact that it doesn't have a keypad. Keypads make PDAs "fat" (by about 4 mm) and that's a big turn off for me.

@ex HTC user
“Don't forget about the basic function of PDA...”

I think the basic function of a PDA is back to Palm Pilot idea, a simple small device to store address book and taking short notes. Not the idea of nowadays PDA that combines phone with mini computer and capable of handling communication. Not to mention taking picture and playing music, radio, mp3, GPS, etc for entertainment. This is way off the idea of basic function of PDA.

Lets forget about the bit and byte, to my opinion the decision to buy mostly base on: 1. Design, 2. Features, 3. Processor, 4. Price, 5. Peer group, 6. Promotion. Select your priority but those elements driving you to the conclusion.

Back to the topic, I guess that you prefer HP over HTC, which is fine. Other may likes HTC over HP that also fine. Never look down to one product while over promote other. Ha ha ha …..

Touchflo could be useful for Tablet PC, devices with larger than 10 inches screen, the smaller are the screens the less useful the technology is because the fingers are too tick to select small user interface details.

htc knows just how to give what i refer to as a ''quench for outstsanding technology and efficiency''. HTC TOUCH really tpuched my heart of technology. it is what we've been waiting for, it's a MUST GET.
