very very naf
manual doesnt even tell u how to lock the phone. Touchflo doesnt work very well. Gps is truly awful (app this is common with v1 .. v2 maybe better) I like winmo. which is good about the only likeable thing about this phone. which is made of plastic and looks it. appears to have been built to a price rather than a standard. if it was meant as an iphone killer it should hide its face in shame.
I hate mine.

Actually they have run out of ideas, "Update" is just a fancy way of saying "same name, same phone, same specs, everything thing is the same except it costs way more!!!" Beleive me, these things won't be cruising out the door.

> In reply to Ole @ 2009-01-26 20:51 from G2GS - click to readThey haven't run out of ideas, this is meant to be a GPS super phone hence the htc footprint and the name "cruise", the old touch cruise was a GPS super phone too that was why it shipped with tomtom software, car charger and craddle. I think its what you call an update. Ignorance is bliss.

I guess we are at an impasse... we´ll just have to wait until another iphone of sorts comes along to freshen things up again... until then, hello stale devices with boring designs and used-up specs!

Honestly, I think HTC has ran out of ideas after diamond and HD.

Does this thing still have the poor video issues of previous HTC offerings?

Why is HTC continuously dropping support for "tri band" umts/3g
The classic Touch Cruise is better spec wise. I live in the US and am constantly traveling around the world, this makes upgrading to newer models difficult

If your going to have a camera, then go all the way, have one that works properly. Many smartphones have a flash included so you can take decent pictures in low lit areas. I agree Pepsi that the device is not a camera, however, having a camera that works properly in all levels of light, I don't think is much to ask for.

Haha, nice phone, i believe that cuz HTC is a business phone manufacturer, thats why the camera is not a very important substance in their phone, thats why a flash is missing.

The best part about HTC Footprints is that you can use them to find your way back to the hidden little café you visited last year, or the elm tree under which your loved one popped the big question. And if you want, you can simply flip through your collection and laugh about the times that helped create who you are today. HTC Footprints is like a journal of your life’s highlights, making them always within your reach.
