I purchased Touch Diamond day before yesterday. I have some doubts. Please help.

1) I want to add personal folders and transfer sms to that folder. When I go to Menu>Tools, the "Manage Folder" option is not highligted and hence I am not able to add a personal folder. How do I solve this problem?

2) Is there way to display the messages in the In Box not as threads but in the conventional way where you see only the messages you have received? Also when we go to the 'Thread', I don't get dates in that, I get only time. Is there a way to solve this?

3) Is there a way to send bulk message? What I mean is to go to contacts, select the names of people to whom you want to send the message, type out the message and send to ALL of them, instead of selecting and adding the names one by one.

4) When I go to settings>Today>Items and select items by checking them and click ok, these items get de-selected. Don't know how to solve this.

Please some one help me. I love this phone and want to continue using it. But these problems.......

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-09 17:31 from mfx5Yes I saw that. But the customers who already spent almost $800 for this phone would have to spend an additional $80 for a battery that should've came with this phone in the first place. That is sad.

This is my first and last HTC phone.

Don't understand why this phone is listed at a 8/10 in the price group?! ... This phone is selling for HK$5,680(approx.US$725), but any of the service provider's customer can buy it off the shelf with a 20% discount off!
If any customer(existing or new) who is willing to sign a contract for 18 months; tthen the price will only be HK$3,180((approx.US$400)-and the monthly bill is only HK$138(US$17.5). If any one is willing to join a bigger plan, the price will drop to half of the list price!

A Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte cost us HK$13,000 per unit(more nthan double the price of the HTC Diamond) & it's rated at 9/10 in the price group, why???!!!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-09 07:28 from TR{kI agree with you. Speaker is rubbish, that is why I use earphones.

I am waiting for new or knockoff battery too. I surf and use YouTube too much but only need to recharge once per day.

Update your software as there are definitely issues with some base ROMs.

> In reply to GSM Judge @ 2008-07-08 23:45 from iFswThe built-in YouTube app is pretty slick. No need to install software or hacks to see YouTube (and VGA resolution!!!)

But there are way more video file sharing flash sites out there that I want to view (not just YouTube), but will need to install hack/software to view.

This phone is not user friendly!

Cons:-
Very low sound.
Speaker sound very quiet & sound quality very rubbish.
Touch screen is not accurate nor sensitive.
Function difficult to use & slow.
Battery last only very short time.

This phone has got too many faults...HTC should do more experiment before putting this phone on the market!
