More than I expected. This cellphone is awesome! and it's always hard for me to decide to buy a cellphone, after a lot of research...The best one so far...I just miss the Voice Command/Voice recorder button from my HTC Diamond Cruise. With IR to use it as a universal remote it would be perfect, that's another option manufacturers fail at. IR people!

> In reply to an @ 2008-06-07 05:15 from 2@NrI think it's not exclusive to any provider's SIM. I think most of the SIM's in UAE is older version. The phone is having a new system. I had seen the same issue with some people who had bought TYTN II.

This phone is having outstanding features and specifications which puts it on top of a lot of phones that are released recently.
Once this pohne is in Egyptian market, I believe I'm going to have it... And that's for sure!!!

This lovely PDA had been released in Singapore for $1098 (without any plans), the price is rather on the high side but guess it will still be worth it for the given specifications. Still waiting for the hands-on experience review from gsmarena, which somehow had been left out.

I wish HTC now will come out with an unbelievable qwerty phone to rival the nokia e71 since they now have perfected their touch through the touch diamond.

A new iPhone is more preferable to me
It is for one reason: A LARGE LCD.
They will add the needed 3G and GPS.
I know that there is IGO GPS program for iPhone
Advice to HTC: large screen (4 inches or more) is necessary for VGA resolution.

My apologies i am the one who wrote the last opinion and did not realise that some of the sim cards of dubai do not work well with the touch diamond causing it to freeze and restart all the time. changed my sim card and have been using it and it definately a fantastic device.
10 out of 10 HTC my apologies again.

HTC congratulations for launching a flop like the touch diamond. I have been wrestling with this phone and it is lousy lousy lousy. Keeps freezing and creashing every few minutes. The phone signal does not even connect and i am spending all the time resetting the damn phone.I guess you will joining the ranks of the other companies that are just going down the toilet in quality and not being able to come up with a dependable phone. This is definately the case that small is definately not good. HTC bye bye.

Have to say that I have been in the shop and went through 6 diamonds as they all crashed many many times that it makes using them a nightmare. Unfortunately the touch diamond has the same issues the tytn ii had. nice looking device shame it is an unworkable and lousy phone.
