this is dumb, come up with a new diamond at least can comptete with samsung i900, now, why would people want this ??
This phone looks amazing!! Although it is likely to be expensive it shouldn't be as much as the Touch HD, if I were to guess I would say about £400 SIM free. I really like the look of the zoom bar, it looks a lot less fiddily than the Iphone's pinch lark.
This is definitely an Iphone beater!
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2009gsmarena has it posted as WM6.1 There are actual reports that this is using the new WM6.5.If you maneged to read all news you would see it is official, that Diamond 2 and Pro 2 are WM6.1/WM6.5 phones, what that means is that simply first few firmwares will be 6.1, but when 6.5 comes out firmwares will be 6.5. If you will buy a new ony, when WM6.5 is already out you will pobably already have 6.5 on it.
Will there be a Touch Diamond 3?
Cause if there will be, then i'll just wait for that instead of buying this one..

I think I prefer the Gigabyte g-Smart S1200 to the Diamond2. I don't like that they made the Diamond2 thicker and bigger than the original Diamond. The s1200 is very slick, thin and rounded.
Sure, the S1200 only has 128 mb RAM, but on the other hand - it has camera with FLASH.
this ppl just don't get it. whats the meaning of a 5mp camera with no flash. HTC. i think u should grow up and realize what the ppl need.
I don't see anything out of the ordinary here. I'm happy with my Diamond Thanks to "Dutty Throy's Rom"..
Not much of an upgrade here, Other than:
- Battery Life
- Screen Size 480 X 800 "Wider"
I won't need the rest of the 1.8MP, Battery Life is fine 2 - 3 days.
I would like a bigger screen though.
Other than that i would rather wait for the new 6.5 rom for my diamond and we might as well get the "diamond 2" interface from the best cooks around.
P.S. Would go for the the "Pro 2" if necessary. =)
