BAD: The reception from this device is very poor. Am currently using the T-mobile version of Touch (a heavy user). Never had signalling problem with other 3G PDA or 3G Smartphone @ home before but with this device, I could literally get miss-call msg or vmail because callers couldn’t get through to me and this happens 60% of the time which is very poor. This issue also happens with full strength signals. This is actually the first time am having issues with PDA ever. I think the antennal module is just wrong or not functioning appropriately for this device. Noted issues are SIM and Phone contacts get displayed @ the same time. Other PDA or Smartphones have the option of displaying either SIM or Phone contacts. User should have the option of permanently disabling XT9 but that is not happening in this case.
That being said, other functionalities are spot on.

> In reply to kkk @ 2008-05-28 18:22 from PUJaThis is a very bad and annoying device. The camera is lousy, the software is slow and needs frequent re-booting. The interface is soooooo slow and poorly designed. I chose this one because it has the keyboard so I can make phonecalls without looking at the touch screen. The keyboard is nearly flat en I must look at it while making calls. Bad bad bad. I have had it since last desember and I regret having bought it. Beware! Expensive junk! Believe me, I have had many phones and this is the very worst one.

Ooops just realized that it hasnt got Wlan!
It is the older version that is equipped with it! What a joke, it is a business phone without WLan function! Now not even considering buying it!!!

Got the HTC about 3months ago, what a crappy phone... This phone is suppose to be a great way to stay in touch out of the office, BUT it has to be the most expensive to use for email there are no unlimited Data plans! I have since got rid of the HTC and purchased a blackberry which performs great and has unlimited Data plans at a great price! Think twice before purchasing this mobile the screen or camera are not to good.

In my opinion, it makes no sense to buy communicator without Wi-Fi. In many countries GPRS traffic is still very expensive and completely useless. I really don't understand why HTC removed Wi-Fi from this model.
So, HTC Touch Dual has no Wi-Fi, no GPS, no radio, poor camera and... very expensive price... Is it really worth it?
I can agree, that Win Mobile based business model may have a poor camera, player etc, but I'll never agree with Wi-Fi absence.
